tatarigoroshi and minagoroshi's endings easily had the biggest impact on me out of anything in the entire vn, and maybe the biggest impact out of anything i've ever read. this song will never make me forget how... for lack of a better word... traumatised and utterly shocked... i felt, when i read tatarigoroshi's ending. also i'm still crying to this song after nearly 1.5 years after having read the vn simply because of how upset this made me when i initially read it. it's nothing short of unreal when i think about it

@TheYellowDucK it really is, which is something i like about the track. it makes it feel so dissonant and eerie, which is kind of perfect for the moment it plays in imo. it's like when your mind shuts down after seeing something terrifying happen and all you can do is stare in horror, disconnected from everything around you

oh sweet someone else whose played end roll. and yeah, i agree tatarigoroshi took me for a damn ride, didnt see anything it had coming at all. This theme gives me like a "whoops messed up!" sorta light hearted bad end theme, although the reality of the event is ANYTHING BUT.

don't read if you have not played Minagoroshi [spoil] They are probably among the few who tried to resist, and got fired at. In minagoroshi, those who resisted the gaz got shot and their bodies where separated from the other bodies so that it would not drag attention on what really happened in Hinamizawa. Its highly possible that Satoko, in her final state of disease, resisted the operation and got killed in consequence.

@@King_Of_Lolis Assuming you're still at chapter 4, this is the shortest arc of all with a duration of approximately half of Onikakushi (Chapter 1) This is also my favourite arc by a long shot so i hope you enjoy it as much as i did :)

Huh... funny how the ending of Hinamizawa being destroyed and revealing a lot of truths about the poisonous volcanic/swamp gas is called Lies a bunch. :p Then again, this is also coupled with a bunch of routes/aus afterwards, and a lot of stuff still not making much sense, like how Keiichi can apparently "curse" people and that there's a doppleganger of him, and so on... If it's not simply denial of a really big awful truth or more, I guess the title is actually still pretty fitting. :? Anyways, while the army reminds me of something like the World War III timeline in Steins;Gate 0 or whatever, it otherwise kind of reminds me of the ending of Kino's Journey... I think the final village Kino was about to stay at in the end of the anime was one that got destroyed by a volcano, but I can't remember... that anime kind of messed me up. ._.
