The flame dagger is a must in this level. Especially the boss fight.

Friendly tip who strugle with the Black Rabits: - perfect block his atacks in the begining its kinda easy to do. I be patient and focused on his slower downward strikes to break the blade. The boss become much easyer and it will wiff a lot. - the range of the boss is pitfull only his reds and downward slashes have range focus on blocking those . You can punish that moves too to regain hp. - dont go full cocky on the boss! Around every 20% hp loss one of the brother will jump down. The boss became realy passive and the lil bros are easy to stagger! Kill them one at a time then back to the boss. -You can use a item to repair you weapon almost instantly. Use it instead of atacking when you durability is low. If you refuse to go for a second weapon you need to repair maybe once or twice per bossfight. -the game have bloodborne dodge. Dont belive ruki when he dodge without lock on! It alvays be bad without target. I dodge most of the time only fast chain atacks get me but then i cloud say elden ring dodge bad because i cant dodge Margits chain sword atack too. You dont even need upgrading it! I still put 0 point on it and im at chapter 10!

It’s called a link dodge as in you link 1 dodge after another for more range it works perfectly fine

I don’t think you realize how impressive it is that u beat the Archbishop so quick, even with a summons. That’s boss took me longer that’s any FS Boss, about 2 hours.

I quit the game at this stupid boss fight. I never quit a Fromsoftware game but this one has over the top difficulty spikes. No matter how good I am to deflect his attacks. His health is too high.

Game is balanced for two things: summons and bombs. Bosses are so aggressive, and they never let you breath 1v1. You need that distraction. And bombs for when the boss is at 25% HP and you're out of heals.

@@BiaccovichI beat him after like my 8th try , need atleast 5 thermites to use and there is guides on how to beat I would recommend looking up and I use the fire daggers

I recently bought this game on PS5 and played it with the Internet off so I could face Andreus one on one, pre-patch. I think he was a good boss. He did have a lot of health but he is also really weak to fire. I may face him again with patches in the future to see the difference.

The mandatory parrying makes this a game I’ll only be experiencing through your channel. My twitchy skills aren’t anything like what I’d need to play this. Which is sad I was really looking forward to playing this but from playing the demo a while back I know this would just be an exercise in extreme frustration.

The bishop is weak to fire 🔥. Use the flame dagger and flame legion arm against this boss. Once the fire affect takes hold, you’ll deal constant damage. Make sure your weapon is at least +4 and focus on advance ability. Elemental damage is better than anything else in this game. You’ll still die in this fight (most likely) but using fire based weapons is the best option. You’ll kill this boss way faster than using slow heavy weapons.

@@Mr.Cisco99 use fire throwables or shot putts before they nerf them. Any thrown items are currently op. Even against bosses.

​@@Mr.Cisco99You don't need flame dagger. Just use the fire grindstone that vanini gives you in the hotel. You can buff any weapon with fire with that item

Would help if you use the items they give you, i.e. puppets = electric, plagued = fire, humans = acid. Thats why they give you a weapon, legion, plus multiple items to help also special grinders each enemy has a weakness.

You dont even need dodge. I put 0 point into it and still fine with it. I do need to regulary use both block,pblock and dodge cant realy do only one.

@csabawars no you don't need the upgraded dodge but that's not what they were saying, they were saying the creator didn't notice something that happens when you have the upgrade

Watching you fight that last boss 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ let’s just stand in front of him and get blasted. No parrying, no moving, just take hits to the face. Contrary to what you claim, dodge rolling is not only possible but recommended in this fight. Your weapon and build is so damn heavy, you can barely get attacks off. Just like the bishop boss, fire 🔥 weapons are highly recommended. This whole area is custom made for a fire build. That’s why the game makes it so easy to swap weapons and builds. The enemies have a specific weakness in each area.

Agree. For the rabit fight he not even pay atention for the mechanics. He just go full Asmondgold and just started to heavy atack spam. I never have a time where there are more than 1 support rabit with the boss. Hell it not just life based. But the main boss become realy passive too! For the bishop once you realise the moveset change back to phase 1 if you manuver behind the boss it became much easyer.

This is my 8th vid I'm watching of people beating the archbishop just so i can convince myself its possible...I have spent the past 2 days, probably 3 or 4 in game hours attempting to defeat this boss! The best I've managed, even expending all my throwables, using over 24 star fragments, going elsewhere and leveling up a bit, was getting to second phase with 1 health recharge and the specter with about 20% health... this shit just feels so...BABALARGGAHHHHH!!!!!

A tip that was useful for me was using the flame dagger

During the second phase stay the hell away from the snake side and only fight the phase 1 side. Use anything with flame too… I know it was a fluke and I got extremely lucky but managed to beat him my second try. Now kings flame on the other hand… tore me up. This game is good and fun to explore; but the bosses just cheese you constantly.

The game is very good, top 3 souls like games, closest thing to bloodborne, the problem with this game is that it is trying to be Sekrio with shitty dodge, very hard parry and punishing blocks also bosses are very aggressive. Sekiro gave you multiple ways to avoid attacks, this game doesn't but I still enjoy it, I try to solo bosses but some are just too aggressive and I don't have much time for it so I used summons a couple of times which makes some bosses manageable.

I’m sorry you had trouble with archbishop. King flame was my bane. Somehow I beat archbishop on my second try and I know that was a fuckin fluke. I didn’t fight the snake side at all. I just kept fighting the phase 1 side and set him on fire.

I'm half way thru the game and while I can appreciate a good challenge this game is objectively imbalanced. If the devs don't address the issues and not just w/ the parry and they continue w/ this formula on a DLC or a sequel; I won't buy or bother w/ it. Catering to an unfair difficulty to a minority group of mosaicists is not how this works. This game makes Souls games look fair.

I find in "souls likes" there is a difference between a well designed hard mechanic and a frustrating one, this seems more like the latter. In elden ring I found myself fist pumping when I beat a boss, this looks a little more un-satisfying?

It's a souls saying for a reason. Git Good. These bosses are challenging, but completely do able especially with summons. Might take 10 tries, but its very do able. With one big caveat you are atheist a moderate souls/sekiro fN and have beaten most of the souls games. Sekiro is a better game yes, this is this companies 1st soulslike game from software is the king, no other souls game beats from software so that not a good comparison. Games balanced fine I've beat every boss you have without summons in less tries. A first playthrough of a souls game almost always looks this way. Demon of hatred how many attempts your first time?? Took me more then any of these bosses.

I really dont think the game is anywhere near as unfair as you've been making it out to be, if you focused on getting the mechanics down instead of complaining about stupid shit like the dodge (which isnt as bad as you make out out to be) and 'margit derangement syndrome' which makes sense seeing as most enemies are mechanical so the way they hold their moves makes perfect sense, then youd do wayyyy better at this snd probably find it a lot more enjoyable. It's frustrating cause i know you're better than this but its starting to be a hard watch with the amount of whining you're doing, like when youre moaning about needing to change weapons for different bosses saying there isnt enough mats for that but you can buy the basic mats by this ooint if you expanded the shops storage

In my opinion your build is too slow.. in the second try i kill the rabbit with a build more faster than he
