Eddie Murphy would alway have a packed cast of up and coming comedians in his movies. He always looked out for the next generation and he would usually cast older comedians that had a hard time finding work too. If Eddie had a movie coming out it was almost certainly going to be a hit, he rarely missed.

To clarify the guy getting shot at the gun line, he didn’t want his family to see the he was turnt out in prison. he played housewife to Jangle leg for years and it was better to get shot instead of his family seeing him that way. The actors name is Miguel Nunez, he played in Juwanna Man, had his own sitcom in the 90’s called Sparkx, starred in one of Martin’s movies called a Thin Line between Love and hate, and was also in the unreleased 80’s pilot of the Power Rangers as Zack the black rangers. I don’t think he been in too much of anything else

Y'all are really reinforcing the stereotype of your generation being the least informed wit the most access to information. Don't blame it on being young because you aren't the first group of young people but you are the first to not know anything that didn't happen to you individually. Y'all don't have regular ol natural curiosity about the world around you and the world before you? How is this an acceptable way to be? It's embarrassing. I don't get it. Please explain?

I’m finding this out as well for this generation. I was always curious about things and never wanted things just told to me. Mostly it seems as these young folks want things spoon-fed to them and they can’t pick up on subtly too well.

Best black actors idk how to pick but the top three are Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx and Samuel Jackson. As for comedy it’s more difficult…Richard Pryor would have to be my first pick, Eddie Murphy is in a lot but idk about the quality vs quantity. Chris Rock had some good ones but Chris Tucker did too, but it seems Tucker always plays the same character. Katt Williams kills it in every role. (Atlanta series especially) Okay they’re funny, but are they playing the same type of character in the movies they’re in? That’s a tough one because Hollywood typically casts blacks guys as the comedic relief. So I guess what I’m trying to say is, the best comedic black actor of all time is…..Robert Downey Jr. 😊
