I do love 'Life Organisation' tips, but I equally love 'Home Organising' tips. You seem to have a great knack for presenting them so that its all blended into a 'normal' lifestyle. (Does that make sense?). I do hope you have some plans for 'Sunday Stylist' Organising lists/merchandise? I would gladly purchase! Lastly, I am sooo grateful for your Aussie style - none of the droning on and on and on before you even get to the point! That presentation has me turning straight OFF many other KZbinrs. You GO girl!

I actually thought this would be a kind of boring video but it turned out way more interesting than I thought!!! Switching from a monthly to weekly life admin day to ensure I am checking in and keeping on top of my life to actually make the most of my life :) Leave the things you do on your 'life admin days' in the comments below!!! Also my poor plant that I left outside in the wind and rain is looking MUCH better now ;)

I'm very disciplined when it comes to my finances. I go through my finances every single day. I account for everything spent and update my budgeting app so I know what's left. I also check my bank balances and credit card online accounts for anomalies. In my area we've had scares with accounts being cleaned out etc. I'm not in for any surprises so a daily and sometimes several times daily check is necessary to maintain my sanity. I'm obsessive when it comes to that part of my life.. Also email are resolved and sorted daily too. Once I open it it gets placed into the relevant folder or deleted or answered within the day. And this is even before COVID-19 gave me so much time on my hands.

Question from someone with 13,000 emails. ( Sadly, true😭🥺). When you’re cleaning out your inbox, what do you do with the ones that need attention? It’s hard to do mass deletions when there are things that do require attention... but you don’t want to stop in the middle of an inbox cleaning exercise to take care of them!

Thank you for the admin tips. On Friday I decluttered a lot of emails and took some VIP photos on CamScanner. Where did you purchase the black drying rack? I checked your website under ‘kitchen’, couldn’t see it on the list. It would be handy for drying our lunchbox and container lids. Yay - you started meal planning. I keep our peace lilies inside our home. Sometimes the tips of the leaves get burnt if too close to the window. Glad yours is doing better. The makeup brush cleaner is brilliant. I loved this video! What a good surprise, because you're right, it doesn't sound fun. And people who've tried to help me with this use methods that don't work for me or come off "lecturing at me," and my mind turns off immediately. Online shopping helps me budget bigtime, but I have not had good luck with produce quality, so we are stuck still going to the market. Also, the stores here have not gotten their deliveries working smoothly yet here, so sometimes you are good for a delivery the next week, but other times you can't get anything in under three. I love that hormone reward section of your planner. I am going to steal that and start it in my own. I think it is important keeping those things in focus, as we spend too much time forgetting them in day to day rush and life. I found a good date/appointment system on Pinterest that I really like: one side has a small calendar like you have, he other is lined down the page with one line for each date. So I make a star or color a spot in the calendar, and write the appointment on the opposite page in that date's line. It is so much easier for me than trying to fit enough info in a regular calendar layout, because even if you make it into a two-page spread, you sometimes need more room and it gets messy and in-cohesive. This way gives me a neat calendar with enough space to write appointment info, not that there is a lot of that lately lol, but still for what I do have, it's great. And I wish I thought I'd this and used it years ago. I also keep a section for orders I place online so I can track deliveries. It helps me stay on top of it. It's funny that with the new lifestyles since covid, things are less rushed, less stress that way...but my mindset still is in that "overwhelming & don't have time for this or that" mode which is nothing but detrimental, and isn't actually correct anymore since lockdown and staying at home. So having a small planner that helps keep those things in focus prevents a lot of that overwhelming feeling. I also made a household goals list and cleaning schedule based on your tutorials. Because I'm partially disabled, my life has had to change a lot to account for my limitations, and that includes housecleaning. I can't just breeze through the house once a week or two and get it all done in three hours. Washing dishes is a painful challenge now. (We don't have a dishwasher, or a mechanical dryer in this flat so I'm sure you can imagine how long things take with laundry and dishes...especially in the kitchen when my husband cooks because he is one of those that will use every tool and utensil possible. Why use one pot when you can use three? Why up use one chopping mat when you can use three of those? Makes me nuts.) Most of my energy goes to keeping on top of the routine upkeep that unless I'm so caught up that I have the ability to do the other things, those other things wait. And wait. But this year, I listed everything I'd like to get done. And I made a monthly cleaning calendar outlining five days a week in four weeks for cleaning tasks. I got through more of my goals this year than I thought I did, jobs like a closet clean out. And I found a method to keep the weekly and monthly upkeep easier to maintain, with a bit of flexibility in there if I am having a bad day and I can't do that day's tasks. It is a massive help, and takes some of the mental pressure off of always having things needing done but don't know where to begin sometimes. It helps me keep up, so things like laundry don't get so out of control behind that I spend ages playing catch up. Even with my dogs' things, like making sure their toys and beds are clean. Their stuff isn't dirty or stinky, they are happy and healthy, and overall my home is cleaner, my stress about my home is lower and that makes me happier. As you said in a past video, I wish I knew all this twenty-some years ago. I wish I figured things like this out then. I'm in my mid-forties, and recently I've had a lot of things hit me that I wish I knew either about myself or knew about how to live my life back then. But, better late then never I say, and it's helping me now. I need to get that brush cleaning kit!! I don't wear make up often...haven't worn it this year yet in fact. But I do have a few brushes and I love tha they can be so clean like that without spending all day at it! I want to color my hair but haven't found a shade yet that I'm happy with. I want to basically get a pro result without going to a salon. I used to have a hairdye back home I loved but I can't get it here in the UK, and the ones I have tried I've not loved. I think I just need to get some and go for it...no one is going to see it if it turns out bad anyway lol. I work from home and except for maybe fifteen trips to the market since lockdown started, I don't leave my home unless it's to walk my dogs or take them to a dog run that's in the middle of a field so it's very isolated. The sheep out there or other shoppers at he market certainly don't warrant a new hair do lol. This is a long-winded message (sorry about that) to say thank you for your videos, because you have helped me better my life, from housework to planning, and making priorities and goals. Thank you so much! 👍🏻💖🌸

Thanks for sharing . You have inspired me to take care of myself better again . Do you mind me asking...you made a video last year talking about goals etc and you mentioned about thinking about dating again . Did you take that further because at the time I was agreeing with you for me also ..as I started to feel ready to date again.. but I didn’t really do anything and now with you know what going on 🤪😷 I feel like I’ve taken a step back. Plus it’s seems that dating sites are the norm now but it not something I would do.even though I’ve heard of marriages from them. I wondered what you planned or even other people here on your comments of how to meet someone. I did consider maybe joining clubs but they are shut around my area now . I do feel if it’s meant to be , your be in the right place at the right time...BUT .. not going any place like I did before 😷 so now what ?. lol. Glad you and your boys are well. 💛

Love this video - love ALL your videos!! I always get at least a couple good ideas to incorporate into my own routine. I would love to know more about how you formulate your lists? For example, I keep a master list of all to-do’s and projects...which then get scheduled as time allows within my weekly/daily lists. Do you keep a master list - or how do you handle keeping track of all the things you want to get done that don’t necessarily get scheduled in this weeks to-do’s? Thanks!! 😊❤️

grksher Hi there! Not sure if this helps, but I first listed all the things I have to do, within a week and within a month. I drew a Monday through Friday calendar out, and started jotting things in on days here and there, to figure out what best would support the routine I want. For example, my husband usually takes our dogs to his mother's on Mondays so she can visit with them, so I keep Monday's for vacuuming and washing floors (my younger dog isn't a fan of the vacuum cleaner and it is much quicker doing it when she isn't in the house). If I want to apply baking soda to let it sit on the carpets before vacuuming that is the best day to do it. Then if I want to do a quick vac on Friday to start the weekend off nice and clean, it literally takes me ten minutes to do. Then the following Monday again, it still doesn't take a lot of time because I'm vacuuming twice a week. I have mini schnauzers and they shed so little that it makes no difference. I shed more than they do lol. But skin dander and dirt from outside can build up, but thanks to my new schedule it's not a problem because I now vacuum twice a week and hat keeps my floors from getting dirty. I schedule everything for after my work shift, so I so spend an hour maximum on chores or other things like filing and admin stuff. Then, the rest of the day is mine, and weekends are mine unless I want to get something extra done or have the time and energy for a bigger project.

grksher my pleasure, hope it helps! I kept the paper I made the calendar on with me for a couple days, and changed things as I thought of them. I didn't pressure myself into coming up with the perfect routine at first sitting and changed things around until they fit what I wanted my routine to be. I think for me, that was the ticket- making tasks align with my desired routine rather than working a routine around tasks. It helped me come up with a better solution, and because I worked some flexibility into it, I am able to stick to it.

I am just starting to get serious with the meal planning...at this stage for four meals a week minimum Mon-Thurs Them the weekend is for eating out: or order in or homemade pizzas etc...and I’ve been reverse meal planning so I check and buy what is on special and then meal plan from that instead of meal planning and then shopping for things that may be out of season and over priced 👍🏻♥️🙌🏻

What software do you use for your title slide you were making? I’m a teacher and need to make headings for my class website and I like different fonts mixed and all put together?

PicMonkey, they only have paid subscriptions now, no longer any free versions but it is excellent. I think Canva is free and it is a similar concept👍🏻

Hi! Your journal looks simple to do (I usually do my journals halfway because its just too much too handle sometimes). Can you share more on your journal?

Just a suggestion, since I heard you say that you became a full-time KZbinr. Vera from "Simple happy zen" is a full-time KZbinr as well. She is from the Netherlands and likes minimalism. You might already know of her. In her last video she talked about how to be a full-time KZbinr. She seem to have a few good tips. I myself do not know to much about it. Take care ❤

Hairdressers here don’t miss a beat to charge you...anything below shoulder length is ‘long hair’ price tag...which triples the price 😅

I was just coming on to the comments to post the same thing - $495 for a hair colour!!! Wow! Your hair colour is 😍 In the UK it's a lot more reasonable - but I have still decided to tint my own hair after coping for months in lockdown - saving about £30/month..
