Great tips! Procrastination is a form of anxiety but I never made the connection to how I may be avoiding a larger issue by delaying dealing with any issues.

It sounds more to me like it was the universe telling you to take a deep moment with yourself. Releasing your energies that no longer serve then energies of others attached to you. Replaced all with the energy to approach what is most important and aligned with the highest good. You're amazing and inspirational. No expectations from us viewers, just happy to have your great accent and joy of refreshing the space so many of us are working through blockages on thanks to you!

I don't procrastinate much, but some days I think we just need it, it is a healing for the stressed live that we live. After that I have the energy to do whatever I have to.

I’ve been in my kitchen for the past 5 hours, skipped breakfast and I’m still organizing and decluttering and wow. What took so long! I feel more motivated watching someone else achieve great organizational results. I fell asleep to this channel and woke up wanting to get my shit together. I’m still in my kitchen trynna pull my shit together ☺️

Thanks for keeping it real! Love your tips! I’ve realized that not doing the “head work “ first, causes me to avoid difficult things or procrastinate doing physical work and then beating myself up for not getting things done. Please keep the videos coming, they DO help! Fan from Japan

This is perfect timing for me. All my plans on Friday went out of the window on Friday because my son’s hospital appointment led to further tests etc. So next week’s plans have also changed. Instead of catching up on Saturday I lazed around eating junk food. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Another fantastic video by YOU! Thank you so much for this one. I have been sinking more into procrastination IN SPITE of having gone through the Learn/Do/Become system with a good friend. Your thought process in this video is very helpful. I also LOVE the "To BE List!" I'm going to change my "Habits and Character Traits" list to a "To BE" list! Thanks again!

This is soooo good! Putting this on loop and listening about a hundred more times. The thought process of breaking apart the "why" is really helpful. Could use more info on why you think that situ was affecting you so much. I need to learn to observe and get past the emotion "procastinate" and address whats really goin on... Thankyou. Procrastination is also something that perfectionists suffer from all the time - it’s the fear of not getting the project exactly the way we image it in our heads.

Happy belated birthday! Wow! I’m so glad you found a way to reward and motivate youTwelfths. I get in these funks a lot and sadly procrastination/distraction via social media has become a habit that I need to wean myself from. I’m slowly making changes and trying to really do the inner work through the Bible and prayer. I’m asking God to know why I’m here and what’s my purpose! The Bible is God’s love letter to us. You don’t read it; it reads you. Happy belated birthday! 🌸🌸🌸

I always notice you have your apples and bananas together in a bowl. Please click on the u tuber called the soprano and ask for the video on the list of fruits and vegetables that should not be stored together. It is a amazing eye opener.💕💕 when apples are near bananas they ripen bananas faster because of the gas they project.. Hope you find it as helpful as I did.🙂

Yes, I use this method to make avocados and bananas ripen faster when they are too green / hard for use - I like underripe bananas to eat plain but like them browner for baking/freezing for smoothies :)

Thanks so much. I struggle with this and you helped me understand myself more. It was really empowering. I went to this clip because you said you were a diagnosed behavioural perfectionist. I struggle with time management and feel like this could be the root of it. If you know a psychologist who specialises in this I’d love to know. I think a diagnosis would help but this clip was also really helpful. Thanks.

It was a work profiling tool we used in HR (Belbin & Lumina Spark) to determine behavioural traits and team role preferences - not as in a psychologically diagnosed behaviour 🙌

I have a hard time with focusing and just getting what I need to get done (the tunnel vision you mention). The trouble isn’t motivation. It’s that I have 3 children 5 and under, so anytime I want to get things finished I have either someone needing something or a baby following me around undoing my work. I find myself having to get things done in the tiniest cracks of the day when I have a moment to myself. Would love to hear from other mothers how you manage to do this. I wish I could hire a babysitter just so I could clean 😂

"Any excuse will do." Your season of life has changed, but the kiddos are NOT the reason you aren't getting the stuff done. You just need a better plan. Check out the Minimal Mom on YT and start decluttering or follow TSS earlier vidoes where she is minimizing stuff. This will help a ton, so cleaning up will be a snap. If something doesn't have a home or get used in your house it is clutter. Also, any child that is potty-trained is ready to learn now to sort laundry or put things away. Implement a 1 toy out at a time rule and have a "clean-up" time before meals. Train them now and you will really see the difference. Lastly, for the very little ones it is time to gate train or use a playpen (give them a toy and start with 5 min) and the reward is lots of hugs and kisses! They have to learn that you will come back and it will give you a sense of accomplishment. My friend/neighbor had 4 kids under 5 at the same time and homeschooled. I loved going over to her house as she would have a sense of order even in the chaos. Book that babysitter as it may inspire you to make these changes knowing someone is coming over! Then go do something fun! :) I hope that helps.

Yeesss! This is me lately, I really annoy myself too! Feeling overwhelmed is my reason why, or the onset of a migraine often starts like this, general feeling of low energy & low focus. Getting into active wear is exactly what I do it works so well for me, putting on some great background music and not looking at my phone or putting on the tv - even to “just watch the news” Thank you I really enjoy your videos x

I totally do this too-I think its a distraction thing. Or maybe what the work thing seems so big (overwhelming) or project needs lots of mental space and I fight it!!! It's like I just want to rebel against what I really should be doing.
