I am so lucky that I do not have to labour over whether contact is made with the 'deceased'. Two times I saw someone who " shouldn't have been there". He came and went as he pleased, and wanted me to see him. As a result of my own first-person experience I am readily able to regard experiences of my psychic friend as real. I know she sees and hears my wife and many others. In this world, we have the prerogative of assuming that nothing exists that cannot be photographed. So long was we choose to believe that "death is death", and is 'final', we must surely grieve over those who are gone. But in my life, no one is, nor has ever been, 'deceased'. As far a I'm concerned, this world is an 'afterlife' in itself. It challenges me when people insist that the non-physical world doesn't exist, but I am clear that they have chosen to believe this, that it is an assumption they cling to, deliberately. Knowing this, I consider that at least some of their sorrow is of their own determination, and that it can yield to a grander version of reality when they enable it to.

I've always recognized the existence of other/alternate realities to the one we recognize. The evidence is all around us. I've had people close to me transition during my life. However, this last year my sweet wife and love of my life has moved on to "the other side" this has been devastating to me in ways I never even imagined...I know she's still with me, this is altering my view of reality...it's terrible and beautiful at the same time.

1) were you grieving when you saw these deceased people? 2) did you see them where you had previously seen them when they were living? Please respond to me because I saw my brother 3 days after he died (it frightened me because I was not prepared) he was sitting at the opposite end of the couch from me looking forward then turned to face me and smiled...it shocked me because at the point in my life (10 years ago) I thought he might be in heaven or hell or just no more but I did not expect to see him sitting there and I wasn't remembering him to my knowledge although I had seen him right there in that spot a few weeks before he died...the literature calls this a grief hallucination but I don't think it was... I was grieving his death was unexpected and I did have a physical reaction that tells me my body had some type of shock with his death...(I quit menstruating for 3 months)... you're the first person I've ever seen write about this so please help me understand it...thank you so much

A brave scientist, he will be ridiculed and attacked, but he no longer wants this subject to be taboo. I can't wait to read his book, I think there will be an English edition available soon. I never used to believe that mind / consciousness could extend beyond the body. It once seemed an impossibility - merely something of fiction! I first discovered such a concept through reading a great non-fiction book called JOURNEYS OUT OF THE BODY by Robert Monroe, all about his spontaneous OBEs, but still I wasn't sure, and put it down to a complex brain system, BUT THEN one day I had my own experiences, and soon realised consciousness is an indestructible energy field which does not "die". So I'd say to the skeptics...just keep an open mind. I kept mine closed for many years. I do have friends who are mediums, and they seem genuine, so I now accept it is real.

However, people who are suffering loss are already in the heart of disappointment and they have no reason left to be entertaining any fantasies. I wasn't in grief and just curious so I went to see a medium at a spiritualist church. Mainly because my partner wanted to go, so I reluctantly went. So do tell me how a little 80+ old lady that I never met before told me1. I had just sold a house with bad damp problems 2. That I had applied for a job by a back door way through a friend but I wouldn't get it that way, two weeks later I got the job but had to interview and go through normal route and finally 3. The medium was leaving me and stopped and turned to me and said "what's going on with your socks?" I had worn odd socks that day for work as my partner mixed up my socks and I had been at home laughing about it with my partner, I had normal socks on for the trip to the medium. I came out and it changed how I see the world! Those things were impossible to know!

the laws of our universe are constant. there has never been even one proven example of anything supernatural.
@enigma77912 жыл бұрын
What is proof? Eye witness accounts? Statistics from sitters that a medium could not have known things? Or do you mean testing as in how a drug is tested? Well even that has different effects on people. There are millions of accounts of the supernatural, have you tested them all and shown them to be all fake? How do you prove something not of this dimension? Even Quantum Mechanics is difficult to prove as it goes against classical physics, but the results are there for all to see. So your line is incorrect as regards proof. Or do you also say that QM isn't real because we cannot say how or why these things happen?
@tim59ism2 жыл бұрын
In fact there is an enormous amount of evidence out there but the closed minded prefer to make statements like yours. That's okay, if you are happy with that.
@saraht62412 жыл бұрын
And yet when you reach the quantum level of things those laws break down. There is less consistency. There is more to life and the universe than meets the eye. I think the supernatural gives us glimpses of that.
@greensleeves71652 жыл бұрын
I mean, I think there are anomalous phenomena going on. But, in order to show real evidence for "life after death" there would need to be data points specific to the "dead" which could not possibly belong to the living, and that's not easy to do, as many researchers have discovered.
