If I win a million, I'm not telling NO ONE.I once won $36,000.A few days prior a friend of mine stiffed me for $4.00 on some items I brought for him.Told him it was $100.He only gives me $96, and said nothing.A few days later ( after I won the $36k) he asked to " borrow" $300.I politely said sorry I don't have it.And I would've GAVE it to him, but since he stiffed me.He lost out.

Money doesn't bring you happiness but money does bring you a peace of mind. It lifts the stress off making sure you can pay bills or if you can put food on the table. You dont worry about debt because it wipes that out. I know if I strike it rich I would be happy to know I can secure a positive future for my kids and help those who have helped me along the way.

The largest source of my unhappiness is working for other people making them rich while they could care less whether I live or die. If I were to die today my employer would replace me before I was in the dirt and refuse my coworkers time off to go to my funeral. with the lottery I would not have to continue working for people who consider me just an employee #. I would be able to follow my dreams instead of being dedicating 50 to 60 hours a week to making someone else rich while earning poverty wages.

Name Given, that isn't what the saying means. If you are an unhappy person, you will most likely continue to be an unhappy person even once you have money. Happiness is a state of mind and those who choose to be unhappy will find something to be unhappy about no matter how many dollars they have in their bank account. Coming into a large sum of money unexpectedly may buy you some temporary excitement, but it won't buy you happiness. Sorry you feel the way you do. God has nothing to do with it, our DNA has everything to do with it. Children are not the only people who get cancer or other illnesses. Because man has done so many bad things to this earth it affects the food we eat. Over time chemicals can alter our body's chemical make up and cause things to go wrong, such as being diagnosed with cancer. We also have the ability to use chemicals to treat people and make them better. People cause others pain and suffering but they can also cause happiness and good health. Try to see "both sides of the coin," if you see nothing but bad things then your life will be filled with bad things, if you always try to see the good in everything then your life will be filled with good things. The power of positive thinking can change your whole outlook on your life and soon others around you will change for the good. We only have one shot at life, this is not a test run so make the best of it and enjoy life as much as you can and make others happy and in turn it will make you happy just give it a try. I know I would rather go through life being happy instead of miserable, that's no way to live...that's not living!

Then had a PI follow me, did an "end around" lied to the court, took the girls with a sheriff, then served me court orders with court date omitted from the served documents. She hired the most expensive attorney's office and paid for it with the girls Trust money and lost. Kate, unfortunately, signed a change to the Trust 20 days before she died giving her mother executive of the Trust, and added a No Challenge to it. But at least Kate's family has her money,

She was correct about hearing stage 4. Lost my mom to the exact same thing. Literally gone after 30 days we were told she had stage 4. It floored all of us.

I am so saddened by this video. My most heartfelt condolences for Kate and her family. I remember Kate from J.R H.S. I won't say we were friends but we were classmates and acquaintances . I heard about her and the lucky 7 and thought it was cool that someone from my school won the big jackpot. I saw her story on the show The Lottery changes my life and was just so happy for her and her family. I told people at work, hey I knew her in Jr. H.S. kind of like saying "people close by really do win and this winning thing can happen to our LOTTO group". Knowing that she passed is heartbreaking, so I can't even imagine what her family is feeling. My thoughts and prayers go out to her daughter's and family.

I like how the wife ( regardless on the fact that she has divorced from her husband) didn't go spending the money on Botox or Beuty, instead she shared her fortune with relatives who needed her help. A kind and beautiful soul, and I think cancer was just a little final test to her strength, and she passed successfully as well.

If you're foolish before you get the money you'll only be more foolish with more money. People who win should shut up and keep it to themselves; $190K+ wont bring you back from being dead either.

People who win lottery, test their lives on an unimaginable scale sometimes is straight forward, sometimes is not. I love what this young lady said in the end" Money doesn't buy happiness, doesn't buy love, Doesn't make you happy, YOU make you happy, You have to make your own happiness, you create your own problems, You create your own drama, and you create your own destiny". Surely money will help to live a problem free life, but like everything else in life, must be taken in small doses, and share your blessing with others less fortunate. Who knows why and how happens to people the way it does, I have been playing for decades, and always one goal in mind, to be more comfortable in life, but above all, be able to be in a position to really make a difference to a lot of people.

She did good with her life. The lottery was a gift not just for her but for her family to be able to live without having to worry where your next meal is coming from. Death is not something we accept readily. We have to know that it's coming to us all. She lived as long as she could and she looked very happy. She left knowing is was the end and she couldn't stop it. The money wasn't a bad thing. She provided for the people she loved and they appreciated it, too. My condolences to the family to Lady that has my respect for her courage.
