Sri Aurobindo was a multi faceted genius.
Life and Death is a deeply philosophical poem. The poet tries to rework the traditional understanding of life and death as binary opposites. Through the poem the poet tries to give new dimension to the concept of life and death.
The poem is of 6 lines(one quatrain and a couplet)
Life and death have preoccupied our thoughts and consciousness.
The poet asserts that there is no death only life.
life is the ultimate truth
Life is a short death after which we are taken into a new longer life of eternity.
