Thank you so much for creating your channel. I'm a little lost in trying to figure things out so truly appreciate you creating content like this. I've always wanted to become a counsellor but have been in ESL teaching the last 12 years and am looking to transition out of it. I'm from the UK and got my BSc in Psychology there but do not plan to return to the UK. I am considering trying to pursue counselling in Australia. The requirements seem different in each country. I've researched online but it is not clear to me what qualifications are needed. I've seen the Diploma of Counselling CHC5105 promoted online a lot, would obtaining this qualify me to apply for counselling jobs? Or would a Masters be essential? As I'll have to pay international fees it is scary to make such a big financial decision without knowing whether it is the right path to take or not. I think ultimately I would like to move towards focusing on grief counselling. I feel more drawn towards the integrative, humanistic approaches. But I'm not sure whether I should find a course focused on those approaches as it could be limiting myself if there aren't courses focusing on those specific approaches. I'm sorry if I've asked too many questions!
