The flamingoes are next to Avarius. It's basically a walk through all of those rope bridges on top of the port and throw aviaries. It looks like it's going to be a rip off but it's actually a ton of fun and the aviaries are packed with birds. Try it next time!

I did costa maya with Celebrity Edge, and i swam with the Dolphins. It was just an amazing experience of my life .Ticked off my bucket list we did have a shower of rain but the sun came out again was in January time love that you are having some time to chill to and interesting that the hole ship was booked private did not know companies did that. I would love to work for that companie lol

Next time you’re in Costa Maya go to the aviary (where the flamingos are) and you’ll realize it spans a large portion of the port! Such a cool experience!

Great video. Yes, Costa Maya is a nice place, even though everything is inside the port for our safety. The reason why I think it was empty because Ubersoca does a big party somewhere else. So, that must be why the place was empty.

What do they usually serve in the mess? Does all the crew eat there? If you complain, is that taken into consideration? It would be interesting to hear how the ships differ in terms of the food for the crew.

it’s just very repetitive foods, bread, mashed potatoes, white fish, rice, and some kind of pork stew usually … we have surveys where we can input suggestions and comments but they don’t seem to ever made a difference sadly 🥲 each ship is different though and some messes are way better than others!

I just finished "none of this is true" by Lisa Jewell and I enjoyed it- more thriller/suspense but solid. Life it too short for books you don't enjoy, so don't feel bad about marking it as DNF (did not finish) and moving on. I probably should take my own advise rather than rant to my friend about the Silent Patient and its infuriating writing style- yep, the first thing I do when I hear a burglar in the house is to run upstairs and write a journal entry about it, I also write out every conversation I have during the day with direct quotes. Or Sharp Objects, where they would like me to believe that at 13 year old is dragging dead bodies around town and staging them, they must have forgotten to mention she is a kid that never misses a day of cross training and power lifting.

I feel the same way I grew up watching Power Rangers and the character of the original green and then white ranger Tommy Oliver has always been my favorite ranger from the show and movies and always will be, but it was a year ago yesterday the 19th of November that the actor that played that character Jason David Frank committed suicide, of course I didn’t find out till the next day but it hit me really really hard I cried for days, his social media team did live stream his celebration of life which was hard to watch, I refuse to believe it for a few days until one of his costars posted a video of a song she wrote for him then I did cry for the first time, and now a year later I still can’t watch any season of the show where I both see him and hear his wonderful voice it is still hard to accept his passing and will be for a long time to come. So Hugs and Kisses 💕💕 hope you will be ok coping with Matthew’s death.

I have seen entertainers/crew members eating in the buffet (on NCL anyway) and have read that "it is a privilege most often reserved for officers or a category known as “staff” or “officer status/privilege” depending on the cruise line. Those in the latter category are usually entertainers, part of the Entertainment Department, or other front-of-house positions." I realize those who are allowed have to be "in uniform" or "fully ready (makeup, hair, etc.)" and wear name tags -- and that some lines encourage entertainers to interact with the passengers and be "on" --- which I can totally understand is a pain in the ___ sometimes. I mean ... you just want to EAT ffs!!!! Does your line ever let you eat in the buffet? I would think they would want their entertainers to be well-nourished and happy!!!! However, I know that the reality may be far from the ideal.

Girl I love you and have been watching for years, but I cringe everytime you talk about tanning. I work in a dermatology office and cut skin cancer out of people daily. Number one thing people say is I wish I knew better than to lay out in the sun. Besides skin cancer, wrinkles and solar lentigos from sun damage are the biggest complaints I see. There are great sunless tanners now that can help you achieve that bronzed look you crave. Wishing you the best, healthiest, long life ❤
