You've got some real wisdom, I'm really impressed! "People forget that they're allowed to be useless" and "if it all sucks something's wrong" are really gonna stick with me I think, those are really mature things to understand about the world, and I think you're right that a lot of grown ups don't get it. Wise concepts to really understand and embody, especially for a kid. You've got a positive message, and I think you're super cool for sharing it! :3

I've never heard anyone talk about it quite like this, never heard of a perma regressor, and this is EXACTLY how I've been for years! At certain points I wouldn't come out of regression at all, to the point of wondering if it was even really regression anymore (as people normally think of it) or if it was just a permanent state. I would feel more like 12-14 and consider that "out" of regression, but then I realized that people literally regress to those ages too. 😭 That's seemed to be as old as I can feel until quite recently (though still hard to keep up). Also the "allowed to be useless" point is just perfect! This really really makes me wanna finally make my own agere vlogs. Thanks for the awesome video! :3

A big takeaway I found is that regression brings back the novelty to adult responsibility. ie. cleaning a room, putting laundry away, getting dressed, caring for pets.

i sometimes get impostor syndrome over my "littlespace" not being this big pronounced shift in mentality but i realized it's because i'm just...like that, as my default mode of being. it's not a noticeable shift because i'm usually already there to begin with and just don't think about it 😅 i'm ridiculously grateful for my partner/CG and the fact that she understands me so well, our dynamic took a while to figure out and stabilize but we made it and we're happy ;w; i don't have a job so i keep our house tidy and our cats taken care of while she's at work, i USED to have a job but working retail during 2020 broke me beyond repair 😓 thank goodness for her keeping me almost sane

Yep, i understood everything you are saying, and i am happy to listen 😊. I am a older lady with adult children, and a husband. Ive been able to do all the grown up things, but my joy is my toys and stuffies and i try to just be with them, no rules or ideas about it, sometimes just looking at them, combing a dolls hair, you know? I find it hard to make time for that, but if i do, im so much happier ❤

I love seeing other adults, especially parents, who recognize the value of letting your inner child out. I personally can't have kids (and due to some of my disabilities, i won't ever seek adoption, etc) but I think parents who regress/have childish interests are so cool! I can imagine that it allows you to connect with the kids better as well! :)

Omg you have just helped me so much! I've basically age regressed most my adult life but hadn't realized what it was tbh. Recently it's been overwhelming how all other adults treat me & I've decided to voluntary age regress in order to cope w/ stuff. I subscribed && look 4ward to watching your videos!

Makes so much sense and I relate to all of this so much! I can do all of my household chores and errands and all that stuff but there is always a little part of my brain that is still regressed. Like for example, I have put on a Disney song playlist to clean my place to or given myself stickers for accomplishments, or my CG will buy me a toy for completing a task. You know what I mean? Like I'm still an adult, but most of the time it's in a childlike way. Anyway 😅 I'm just saying, I totally get it ❤

This is similar to me. I cannot work because of my chronic illness. I'm not really perma regressed though but I do have control over my middlespace (11-12) and I like to engage in it a lot. My involuntary regression is a different side of myself and it's littlespace (5-8 ish, it depends). I do have a facet of myself that is older or near my own age (35) who can engage in serious talk and everything. I have what I call personas that I've named. So normally I also do things like play video games, play with hot wheels when I'm in middlespace, read manga, do arts and crafts, bake, things like that. Even non perma regressors I think can engage in non typical leisure activities. We need to normalize it. :) PS my middlesapce and littlespace is ofc sfw! BTW you're right.

This talk video made my brain spark! It's sooo interesting thinking about adulthood, and what it means and how we choose to spend our time. The kidult "lifestyle" really resonates with me, the only thing that's preventing me to really sink into childish interests is money, like stuff costs. I'm trying to find ways to engage in childish things that are free on my leisure time to spark joy. :) Loved this video, I love talk videos don't feel bad about them. Just a request, could you maybe not have music in your talk videos or at least lower the sound, I had difficulties following your talking when music also was playing. ^^

Thank you for sharing your insights! Also thank you for the feedback on the music, I have been considering taking music out of talk videos going forward, and I will be doing that after seeing this comment. :) ^-^ In terms of free/low cost childlike hobbies,I find visiting my local library and reading kids books is a nice free regression activity that i personally enjoy a lot! :)

First :> Can a perma regressor be a minor? /genq
@OnlyFunThings
@OnlyFunThings Жыл бұрын
Hi! I don't know my opinion on this personally, I wasn't aware of regression until I was a bio adult, so I'm not sure how it would be for other people, I think it would depend on the situation and how it affected the minor, their parents/guardians, etc. It's a lot more complicated for those still in bio childhoods, >.
