Hearing you talk about what you want to overcome through speech therapy was so amazing for me. I have a similar issue where if I'm asked a simple question, my brain genuinely can not think of any sort of answer because there are too many different factors going into it and that always makes me feel really insecure, but hearing about your experience with it made me feel a little bit better knowing that I'm not alone in my struggles with it

I’m tearing while watching this video because you look like you’re taking good care of yourself and enjoying your time as a mother and as a person. I’ve been struggling to take care of myself ever since being a mom 3 years ago. I’m always so anxious whenever I leave my child in someone else’s care even if it’s with his dad or grandparents. I feel like I’m always rushing to be with my child and dealing with a lot of mom guilt. Thank you for inspiring me to take care of myself.

It's always so inspiring to me that you seek further education/class for self-improvement. As always loved watching your videos! Jenn, I took a public speaking class in college and can relate to the challenges you’re experiencing. My teacher’s main goal was to get everyone comfortable in front of people. We’d do exercises everyday like say a toast in front of the class or what you’re thankful for to help us get used to speaking in front of others and off the cuff. Thankfully he wasn’t the type of professor to call on people. He’d really encourage us to go at our own pace and volunteer to speak when we’re ready to. We did 4 big speeches throughout the semester and those were all prepared and written out beforehand. Extemporaneous speech is still super hard for me. Anyway I wish you all the best!! I’ve always loved hearing about what you’re learning and working on! ❤❤❤

The Easter bunny is actually for spring 😂😂😂 I think it’s relatively well known that some popular Christmas traditions are actually derived from the pagan celebration of winter and the winter solstice (see: history of the church, the Romans, the actual date of Christmas not necessarily being Christ’s birthday etc). Easter is the same. Bunnies (as in procreate like bunnies) and eggs etc are signs of spring and fertility. It’s more a Pagen celebration of nature and the spring equinox. And once again it got mixed in with a church holiday. And again it gave modern holiday capitalism something safe and fun to sell to everyone (just like Jenn said). 😂👍❤️

My niece and Lennon are just a few months apart. It's so fun to watch them both grow up. It's wild that they are both CAPTIVATED by Ms. Rachel. Just a tip for frying tilapia! Make sure the oil is really (really)hot before putting the tilapia because if the oil isn't that hot, the fish will tear apart when you flip it! 🫶🏼

i could honestly watch this all day. i think it's really helpful to see a parent genuinely enjoying their child instead of a lot of the well-meaning fear and anxiety mongering that people in their late 20s-early 30s get these days. like this actually makes me curious and excited to be a parent instead of scared :)

I mean...the anxiety is real. Most folks don't have the money, flexible job situations, free time, and childcare options (nanny) that Jenn has. It's great that she is so present and enjoys parenting but it's good to be realistic about how parenting is for most people who don't have her resources.
