Hmm with grade deflation I'm not sure. My case has been if I put in adequate work, I get good grades, and if I don't, I don't. I've had both good and bad grades and know what it takes to get either, but for the average Emory student I think it's not impossible to do well.

College is whatever you make it to be! If you want social life, you can have it at Emory, even though we're not known as a party school. It's not a big school but there's still more than plenty of people to get to know and hang out with.

With regard to stats, I really am not sure. I don't know how much weight Emory puts on then. But it seems like you're doing great. If you can prove you can work hard and make things happen for yourself, I think you'll get in!

This looks so fun!! I'm only in 11th grade but I'm sure I'll be applying to Emory when the time comes. Also, this is random but,...quick reminder that we all are saved through Jesus' death. Through Him we escape the damnation we deserve. God loved us so deeply that He sent His own son to experience hell so that we don't have to. Don't forget that the love found in God will never be found anywhere else. He cares for you, no matter who you are and what you've done, and what you're going through :)

Emory's very friendly. Everyone's so cooperative, supports you, and I loved the music program here. I also wanted to be in a major US city, and I really didn't have a shot at other schools
