I been there on an official visit recently,they are highly cultured people I don't know why people criticise them we found them very cooperative, I was feeling I wasn't in Pakistan it was some other place, people don't gaze at you, they don't make faces if you speak English because they take it as a normal language, they guide you well. I think it was all sheerly superb. I am happy we have this sort of University in Pakistan.

Lums is an amazing University, no doubt, but its still ranked 701. Even though it tops Pakistani charts, wouldn't a company prefer a graduate from say the University of Singapore which is ranked the best in Asia or some university in the US which competes Worldwide? I am an undergrad at the best university in the Mid-east (279 world ranking). I wanted to do my MBA at Lums but I feel its a step down since it won't be much valuable outside Pakistan. Still, Respect.

Love to see my motherland progressing i the world, I'm a Pakistani living in the UK since I was 2 years old and let me tell you, LUMs is something that I would consider a world class university as I have been there many times on my visits to Lahore. I love to see Pakistan being shown in good light, most of my British Pakistani friends who hardly go to to Pakistan, think of Pakistan as some backwards village where no one is educated but I constantly tell them its not like that. India me IIT, NIT, IIM aur top universities me aise admission nahi hota hai. Yaha aapko sabse pahle ek combined Entrance Test dena hoga sare colleges ka ek saath. Yaha Goverment Colleges ka value Jyaada hai aur fees bhi bahut kam hoti hai yaha pe. Uske marks ke basis pe hi hota hai Admission. Google ka CEO bhi IIT ka product hai aur Microsoft ka CEO bhi India me Engineering complete kiya tha apna.

anyhow, that's expensive one. but I know their graduates who directly have seats of grade 17/+, most of them don't go for govt. job, rather they do start their own business or a managerial seat in international firms directly outta their alma. LUMS is awesome, I just luv the environment, when I first time stepped in it. But couldn't get admission there. No matters, I'm still good. #UETian

@@unexpectedlystrange of course it’s unknown to you cus its in Manchester not Lahore 😂, and if it’s so easy try getting into it, I never said Lums is a bad uni I simply said Burger, plus with my uni it’s not just paying for a degree it offers more opportunities than lums with a guarantee of a future job depending on your course. Ranking doesn’t matter what it offers is. If ranking mattered than even if you get admission in Oxford you’re brain will still be the size of a peanut 😊
