Just popping in to say I liked you mentioning your favourites in this format. It doesn't take up the whole video (videos that are just favourites I tend to just skip) and is just sprinkled in among other updates, so it was much more interesting. Also, don't feel bad about being at home. You are pregnant and there's still a pandemic. Plus, since you post on Sundays when many people tend to spend the day at home, it's kind of just like we're all hanging out together in our homes.

Not sure why you're worried about the tube, but went on holiday abroad, by plane? 'Nine perfect strangers' has a few episode on Prime right now, and although it's not exactly like the book by Liane Moriarty (same author as 'Big little lies', highly recommend the audiobook), it's really good.

People on planes are tested (negative) or double vaccinated and much more likely to be wearing masks. Being on the tube lately I have seen a huge rise in the number of people not wearing masks

Agree with this! I’m Swedish living in Sweden and 36 weeks pregnant and here we are all looked upon as risk group from 20 weeks. Even though we have taken the vaccine. I have not been on a bus or train during all my pregnancy and if I do go in to a shop, I of course wear a mask. Could not even imagine going on a flight right now even though I’m fully vaccinated…

I'm so curious to try the new eye corrector! You can buy a tin of beeswax and use a rag to rub it on the drawer runs to make it more smooth. Works on any wood and helps to protect it too. I'm so excited to see the loft progress, wishing you all the best of luck with it!

Fun fact. My waters broke during the lambing episode of Clarkson’s Farm 😅 I agree it’s a great series even if you’re not the biggest JC fan. Also I’m pretty sure more often than not boy pregnancies are easier. I barely remembered I was pregnant til I was 30+ weeks and had a bump. No symptoms whatsoever. You look so healthy in this pregnancy and like you’re really enjoying it 🥰

Virgin River on Netflix is a lovely series to watch, the scenery is beautiful, filmed in Vancouver and BC (I looked it up, because it’s so amazing!) There are currently 3 seasons out and pretty easy watching

Try rubbing candle/paraffin wax along the drawer slides to make it a bit smoother to open and shut.

Just a little tip for your stiff makeup drawer. Use a dry soap bar and rub it on the corners of the drawer, makes it slide more easily 🤓

These home vlogs are great! Like others said we are spending a lot of time at home and it’s totally fine! Very enjoyable, just like chatting with a friend…love the podcast!! Clarkson’s farm, watched an episode. It’s so ridiculously funny watching all the fumbles and learning about farming. Yess to the handmaids tale!! It’s so horrifying but so compelling! If your skin doesn’t agree with the new Avene formula, I find Eurecin Replenishing Face Cream really similar. I usually switch between the 2 regularly (whatever has an offer in Boots!) and have no issues. Also have very temperamental skin

So sorry to hear about your painful ear - unfortunately it has been shown that antibiotics don't really help with ear infections (for children either) . You'd be better to take some anti-inflammatories (Ibuprofen) and Paracetamol for the pain. A hot flannel over the side of you face in the evening can be very soothing too. This is because it probably isn't an infection at all but congestion in a very tight space (the inner ear) which leads to the pain. When my kids had sore ears the advice from the Sick Kids Hospital was to give them Ibufrofen (syrup as they were little) 4 times a day and Paracetamol (syrup) 4 times a day but to intersperse them - as they can both be taken 4 hourly (and only really last for 4 hours) you can take Ibuprofen and then 2 hours later take the Paracetamol and then keep that going so the pain has something to help it every 2 hours. So it would look like: 8am - Ibuprofen 10am - Paracetamol 12noon - Ibuprofen 2pm - Paracetamol 4pm - Ibuprofen 6pm - Paracetamol 8pm - Ibuprofen 10pm - Paracetamol You would only do it for 2-3 days as by then the congestion will be subsiding (which it will do with or without antibiotics) One of the main reason we have overuse of antibiotics, and so they are becoming less effective, is that we're taking them when we don't really need them - parents please stop asking your GP for antibiotics for kids 'ear infections'!
