Nice video Paul! Can't wait to see the sausage video. Planning to try both recipes together. I've never had either of those but here in the USA I love Bob Evans breakfast sausage on a toasted ciabatta roll with a fried egg, so I hoping these will be similar, yet different. Looking forward to it! Thanks!!

Fantastic.I did attempt them and looked great on the outside but were stogie and heavy in the middle.. I shall attempt again following your method next time. I also make my own lorn sausage from time to time too. I'm living in Thailand as well.

Hi, you need to make sure you give them 1 to 1.5 hours for first proof, then the same time for second proof, here in Thailand in a non A C cooled kitchen the temp is perfect for this, however if your kitchen is air conditioned you need to put them somewhere warmer to proof. Good luck and let me know how you get on with my recipe.

OMG I live in Scotland and i have gone to buy my morning rolls for a long time but thank you thank you i have never seen how to make your Scottish morning rolls. The crispy top is exactly how i enjoy my rolls. Being originally from Inverurie in Aberdeenshire i would add either a fried egg, or 3 Aberdeen Angus or plain good quality pork sausages on my rolls always spread with real butter! and not margarine. Now and again i would add a slice of black pudding as well on top of my fried egg with some fried brown onions for flavour. Now that i live in Hamilton near Glasgow where they mostly add Lorne sausage on top of their Scottish Morning rolls. I am looking forward to watching your your next video to help me see how you make Lorne sausage a first for me. Lets see more of these kind of baking videos. I have really enjoyed watching many of your house build and your garden videos. Well done. You have a nice day. PS this is me using my best sasenach translation. HaHa LOL. Bye4now. 😅❤

Hi Paul, stumbled onto your channel. Going to have a go at the rolls shortly by preparing in a bread maker. Miss my morning rolls just a pity i cant get a mince pie to slap into the middle. From:A Paisley man living in Korat

Hi, thanks for watching, have you tried rolls yet, I have a stand mixer and the dough it produces is fantastic, rolls get better every time, I will have a bash at scotch pies, they shouldn't be to difficult, hot water pastry probably simplest to make and Macro has everything you need including lamb.

They look fantastic, definitely going to have ago at making these ,remember as a lad going to local corner shop in morning they trays of these ,and in Aberdeen had trays Aberdeen rolls "Rowies...butteries..too mmmmm, have ever made a Scottish Plain loaf ? .great vlog thanks for sharing 👍👍👍

Hi, I've made rowies too, no video yet, not easy in this heat as butter just melts and runs out of layers, I had pizza dough left over a few months ago, lots, so I thought I'll just make bread out of it and would you believe it turned out identical to scottish plain bread, I was pleasantly surprised and will be doing that again. I will pop a video on that too.
