But how many go to theaters to watch SRK in DON and how many go to DON to watch PC? It's 90% or more tilted towards SRK. And this reflects in the BO figures of lady oriented movies. Very few actresses could pull audience to cinema halls on their star power -- Sri Devi, Madhuri. Who else?

Industry biases have favored male leads, but this is changing. Actresses like PC are becoming significant box office draws. Pay should be based on effort and talent, not just box office numbers.

It already exists As per public knowledge (assuming it's true) Prabhas was paid 150 cr for Kalki while BigB Kamal Deepika were paid 20 cr each. Deepika has too many hits in recent times.
