Another tip for Mascara streaking would be to add on a layer of waterproof mascara as the very last step. It will wash off easily, since you have the normal mascara underneath, but it will help your normal mascara to stay put even if you have teary eyes or allergies like me :)

Hi I'm Loretta De Los Rios using Frank's account to make this comment with his permission. 🤲🙏🎶⚘🎻🎵 I dont see that happening meaning "it will wash out easy!" I'm sure you have to use a waterproof eye remover. Unless you use a cleanser! But even if you do! you still have to wipe it down with a eye makeup remover. I personally do not use a cleanser to wash out mascara from my eyes. I never did that as a younger women and upto my mature age & my eye area is in good condition! I recently did try to wash out my mascara with a cleanser made for makeup removing but I did not like how my eye area felt! It irritated it. It's better to take your time to remove your eye makeup. I like one that has cucumber extract.
@Mikynka002 жыл бұрын
@@frankvelez4997 Hi Loretta! Well, of course, that depends. If you wash your mascara off with just water then it is technically "not easy to wash off". However, if you wash your face with a normal face wash or even micellar water (I personally use a mild gel cleanser to wash my face) then you do not have to go in with an oil makeup remover or anything else. Warm water and gel cleanser does the trick for me :) Sorry that you had a bad experience, I would say it's just a matter of finding the right one for your face which can take a while.

Evy sunscreen from Sweden is a good splurge.($30 for 6oz foam canister+ extra for shipping) It has to be imported from the U.K or another EU country. Otherwise, for a (U.S) lotion sunscreen Banana Boat SPF 50+ Light as Air. (~$13, 6oz, or less if you have a BOGO free/half off coupon available) It has fragrance though it's less noticeable if you have a genuine allergy or sensitivity it might not work. It's the best cheap drugstore sunscreen that isn't tacky or staining, in my experience, your mileage may vary. I recently tried the Avene Sport Fluid spf 50+ ($19+ shipping, 7 oz) , also a winner but pricey. It's my "I need to go hiking and get to a restaurant during a day trip/vacation and don't want to pack anything else.) Mineral sunscreens have always stained clothes and certain vitamin/antioxidant additives tend to change colors dyes in fabric when they oxidize. Try a very boring one without so many additives, listed below. A sport sunscreen, while WAY less comfortable to wear, generally doesn't rub off on clothes. Coppertone SPF 70 kids water play sunscreen ~$8 average retailer Fragrance ~$8 Hawaii Tropics SPF 50 Make it Matte (available on Amazon, haven't seen it in stores) Has Aluminum Starch and Cornstarch to wick up sweat region Beach Republic Clear UV Gel spf 100 (no fragrance in facial version, 3oz) regular version fragranced ~$14 body 5oz, $14 face 3 oz SPF 50 Body sunscreen Eucerin - ~$14.50 Has antioxidants for skincare but doesn't transfer, feels thicker than the facial sunscreen because it has anti-rub and water resistance. It's more moisturizing than most of the sunscreens on this list but doesn't seem to cause any color changes on either swimwear or regular clothes. La Roche-Posay spf 60 kids lotion, cheaper than the spf 50 for adults. Still tacky, and has worse skin feel than the Eucerin spf 50 sunscreen. Doesn't pill on reapplication but doesn't feel worth the price. (`$23-$29, total for 1 bottle, 5 oz. Eucerin is $15-20) Sum Bum SPF 70, very emollient, skip if you're oily or in a humid state. Has some anti-oxidants for UV stabilization (Vitamin E) but has not potential for oxidization. Alba Botanical spf 60 spray lotion Fragrance free and available at Costco or Sam's Club ~$19 for a 6oz, 2 pack last time I bought one. $24 on Amazon Banana Boat spf 100+ spray or the lotion - least enjoyable to apply, but best sun protection out of ALL the other sunscreens listed, relative to it's price. $8 on Amazon for 4oz lotion and $6-12 for the spray version. For some reason the spf 100 doesn't have fragrance but the other one, the spf 50 lotion, does. Finally, if your budget is tight, Nature's Apothecary spf 30 powder available on Amazon. ~$14 and you have to buy the cheapest sunscreen available. (UP and Up $4-5, 10 oz, or Walmart, No Fragrance in either) -Can be used to pat down the sticky feeling/transfer risk as it mattifies whatever sunscreen you are using. Key note: It is an untinted zinc powder. If you have to apply more than once, I would dust it on after rubbing in either your lotion or spray sunscreen. Without titanium dioxide, the zinc doesn't leave as much cast and won't give flash back when you are taking pictures, but it is going to leave SOME trace on the skin.

Besides being an astringent, witch hazel is mildly antibacterial -- so it probably helps to kill some of the odor-causing bacteria. That's why salycilic acid and other BHA/AHA products can help with underarm smell, too! Whenever I put on an SA serum I always put a little on my pits too.

Or would steidex pads with SA work better? Coukd probably steal my husband's stridex. Lol. Hello Abbey. Im 34 years old and have been usingTretinoin for 17 years. I am in a child free marriage so never had a reason to stop. When I first started Tretinoin I went about it just like you did. I had this slow progression of sensitivity from foundation with fragrance to later sunscreen. It was only after a while I found out that the strength is not for me, some people never build a tolerance to Tretinoin to its highest potency and it will cause adverse effect as dermatitis continues to progress. I lowered the strength and I was no longer sensitive to anything yet still had top results. I am also not the only one who went through that, a youtube Jennifer Myers also in her 30's with over a decade experience with tretinoin has similar insight. Anyway, thought I'd share its worth a thought. Love youre channel, thank you.

I'm super passionate about that Neutrogena mineral stick. Game changer for me. I use it on my eyes every day to prevent burn, but also because I have thicc eyelids and also wear glasses. If I have to wait for my lotion sunscreen to dry down naturally without goobering the insides of my glasses, I have to go without seeing for 20 minutes, which isn't convenient before work (or ever). The stick improves that by 80%. Also, i live in Denver and frequently go to the mountains. The change in altitude means that bottles of sunscreen lotion can explode and make a mess, so they need to be carried in an extra ziplock. Now, I apply my fav sunscreen at home, and take the stick to the mountains for re-ups with no fear of mess. This is also my fav to throw in my purse for reapplication on the go for every day. Not my first choice sunscreen ever, but very useful nonetheless. Love it.

I vouch for the use of sunscreen sticks around eyes and on target areas for extra coverage. I was desperate to find an SPF product that doesn’t sting my eyes, and this idea worked well for me. For sunscreen reapplication with makeup on, I use a powder SPF. I just have to make sure I don’t try to apply it on a sweaty face. That can look awful. Witch hazel contains alcohol and alcohol kills bacteria. Bacteria plus sweat is what causes BO. So that's why it helps!

There's also the SIGNIFICANT risk factor of increasing the propensity for bacteria, fungi, and more, by applying *anything* directly to your face/body repeatedly. The same is true for women who dunk their fingers/nails into products. A sunscreen stick would be great for hands and ears, but never for the face.

Thank you Abbey. The bun. Yay. You touched on the bonzer thing. Yay! I was looking into this. How about a bronzer video?!? And the last hack, would love to see the results! Great video 👍🏼 thank you

Please show the robe hair tie again, and this time continue to the end, and demo how to tie it off! I’m new at this, and I don’t know how to finish. Also, what is a good substitute for a robe belt? 😊

I have a much better mascara hack. Everybody puts powder on their lids! use a lash primer and the mascara just sticks to that primer and doesn’t get all over. I have deep set very hooded eyes so I have struggled with this for years and now that I use Lancome‘s lash primer I barely have the problem at all.

I almost never wear eyeshadow, but grease up my eyes, so used to get raccoon eyss from mascara. Tubing mascara has been the answer for me. I'm obsessed! The only negative is you can only do one coat (or two really fast). Love Glossier, Maybelline Sky High, and L'Oreal Double Extend... I heard Thrive makes the best. Also want to try Victoria Beckham and maybe Hourglass. I'd love to hear your opinion about tubing mascara or comparing the different type of mascara formulas that are out there.

My holy grail tubing mascara is Trish McEvoy (not the newest version). And a Trish makeup artist showed me she uses the one with the bigger brush first and then the one with the thin brush as second coat (and for bottom lashes) and I LOVE that trick!

What is tubing mascara?
@jesss21452 жыл бұрын
@@bonitamoore7679 I'll have to add it to my list to try! 😁
@jesss21452 жыл бұрын
@@jaxxiet5851It's a mascara that dries as a little tube on your lashes. It comes off really easily with warm water, but also wears without smearing. When I fall asleep in it, I don't wake up with raccoon eyes. It is not water proof, but seems oil proof, which helps prevent smearing for me. If you have trouble with raccoon eyes or getting all your mascara off, you should try it!
