I’m very naturally “fury” on my face (thx Mom) it works great 👍🏻 I’d LOVE to get ur take on it tho. And NO it doesn’t cause me to have a 5 o’clock shadow. That’s caused by testosterone.

Between washes I love to dampen my ends a little and I’ve been using MoroccanOil for years and love it so much. It’s not cheap for me but it lasts a while using other products too like bb invisible oil or Aussie hair insurance. Also I love dermaplaning just so that makeup doesn’t stick to my peach fuzz which looks less natural. Not for texture reasons but just cuz it sticks there sometimes 🤩

I’m a clinical esthetician & really enjoy all of your tips & product suggestions. None of us can try every product, so it’s great that you test a lot of them for us! I also think Pureology Multi tasking hair beautifier is the best hair product ever - recommend it to all of my clients & use it on my hair every shampoo day. I also think the Pureology Nano shampoo is best for my curly/frizzy hair and their hair masks are excellent also. The Strength Cure hair food & Hydrate are great for damaged hair. The color care version is lighter & leaves so much body in hair. Oh- & tinted SPF’s- I like the PCA Sheer tint spf 45 a lot. It’s mineral based, & leaves a natural finish & the color is fairly sheer & self adjusting. My clients love it! 💜

I love the Banana Boat Light as Air for the face, but I've only been able to find it at Walmart recently. They used to sell it everywhere, and I'm also scared that they're discontinuing the line 😭 It's so good! But no one talks about it. I found only one person on KZbin reviewing that sunscreen. It sucks because as an extremely oily person my only other options are the Japanese sunscreens which I'd have to order online and I really don't like having to do that.

I wish I knew as much about taking care of my skin as you do when I was your age. You look great and will age well. I grew up at the time we didn’t know anything about sunscreen. Paying for it now. I would suggest not trying shaving. I had seen a lot about it, so out of boredom and feeling old and ugly, tried it. So, regret it. An upkeep I didn’t need, but now have to do. Keep up the good work.

Hi Abbey, Is your dentist/dental hygienist okay with the two products (the toothpaste and mouthwash). I am wondering if the toothpaste is too harsh on teeth (does it remove enamel or scratch teeth) and does the mouthwash protect teeth from cavities and germs that can cause gingivitis, etc. Thank you for letting me know what the thoughts are of your dental providers.

Banana boat has been recalled for their spray on sunscreen as they were unsafe. And their spf test did not meet the level promised their spf 50 is actually 40.4 it has been recalled from heaps of stores in NZ as doesn't't meet our sun requirements. I guess its made in Australia so countries that aren't close by would be aware of this. Often suncreens promise a spf but test lower so is important to check test and research.

Yes, skin can and does look that great if you take care of it. I’ll be 50 in 6 months and I’ve been caring for my skin since my early 20’s. My skin is in amazing condition, most people are shocked when they hear how old I am. For the record, I also don’t wear sunscreen on my face because I have highly reactive skin and sunscreen burns my face. To avoid any issues, I wear a big ass hat when I’m outside. I have Zero sunspots, very little wrinkles and plump juicy skin. I have in the past few months incorporated red light therapy and my NuFace along with my nightly RetinA.

@@kv911 Hi! Thank you for asking… I’d be happy to share my routine with you. I keep it really simple, no fuss, no muss… AM: cleanser of your choice depending on your skin type, the cheaper the better in my book. Then I apply only ONE serum, and that’s The Ordinary’s Buffet with copper peptides. I follow that with a moisturizer and the one I’m currently using is Olay Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 fragrance free. You can follow that up with an SPF but I typically don’t wear one. I do wear a big hat and only wear sunscreen when I absolutely have to. Night routine: oil cleanser, actual cleanser, a serum and the one I’m using is the Needle-less serum and my Retin-A. Followed by the same Olay moisturizer. Trust me, keep it basic and give it time. It takes 6-8 months to start seeing change. Be consistent and you’ll be golden. I hope that helped you 😊 if you have any questions please feel free to ask me.

Great video as always, thank you for that. But just one question, something that intrigues me about people who self-tan. Why self-tanning your skin? You don't like your skin colour? Also, when you remove your makeup your face will be whiter than the rest of the body? For me it's same as when dark-skin people are trying to get whiter. Why white people have to tan their skin and black or asian people are trying to whiten? Let's embrace our natural skin colour the way it is, it's beautiful either way..

I went to a plastic surgeon ten years ago, when I was 21 for a "double chin" 😅 this was before kybella so I made an appointment for literal liposuction! I was sooo embarrassed when I met with the plastic surgeon and had to say what I was there for. The plastic surgeon was (honestly, kind of rude) and very blunt - "no. absolutely not. you don't have a double chin, it's receding chin" she walked me out and told the girls not to charge me the $300 for the visit. I was so upset with her and wished she had explained it the way your appointment went haha the more you know!

I have the Pureology Color Fanatic and....I don't know. I feel like it weighs down my hair SO BAD and leaves a residue. My hair is a fine texture but also pretty thick. Naturally dirty blonde, but I get a full head of highlights about twice a year. My hair gets SUPER tangled whenever I move or breathe, so washing turns my hair into a rat's nest despite my best efforts. A detangling leave-in is a must for me out of the shower. This just seems to leave such a residue for me to the point that my hair looks almost wet still after I blow dry even though it's not. I don't know what I'm doing wrong? I'm using enough to get my tangles out but I'm not using the whole bottle at once?

Fellow curly here! I would definitely say if you're getting your hair wet with salt water or chlorine, it's better to wash it every day than to let that sit on your hair. Both will dry out your hair much worse than if you just shampoo and condition. If you're just wading and not getting your hair wet (I like to keep mine in a high bun/pineapple on some days so I don't get it wet), you don't need to worry about washing.
