I am fairly new to your channel and I have enjoyed watching the videos. You all make such a great couple/ team. I am an Occupational Therapist and also a Certified Driving Rehabilitation Specialist. I work primarily with people who need specialized equipment to drive. I have seen many clients with SMA along with many other disabilities. I have never commented before on a video but after seeing this I wanted to let you know about a product called a Jaco Arm. It is a robotic arm that is mounted on your wheelchair and you control in with your joystick that you use to drive your chair with. You just hit a switch to switch your joystick from drive mode to Jaco Arm mode. The 2 clients that I have with it have found it to be life changing. 1 client has MD and the other was born without arms or legs. The client without arms can now using the Jaco Arm do things like drink out of a bottle without a straw, picking the bottle up, plugged in her own phone charger and can now independently hit the power door button to go in and out. That is just a few of the things that they both have been able to independently do. Just google Jaco Arm and there are videos on KZbin that show it if you want more information.
