Where does the sperm come from if the male Anopheles mosquito doesn't bite humans?
@TutanchAnup7 жыл бұрын
The sperm in fact isn't neither from the mosquito or human, it's the sperm of the Plasmodium (=the malaria), which was in the stomach of the (female) mosquito from previous feeding on different human. With each feeding on infected person, the mosquito sucks in the sex cells of the malaria. There are many of those cells, and THEY are female and male. The interact in the mosquito's stomach and form a new generation of Plasmodium. The gender of human is irrelevant, and male mosquitos indeed don't feed on blood. ;-)
