If you take a look at where he was a year ago with his sub count... 23k. His sub count has risen 20 times within one year! He gained 75k subs in the last 30 days. Next year this time he will probably have 2-5 mil subs.

Would be even better if the compression algorithms of KZbin were less aggressive. For example I am sure that 1080p uncompressed footage from their camera(especially the RED camera) will look a lot better than the 4K version on KZbin(Though on KZbin 4K compression is less aggressive than FHD compression).

I also do not understand how this channel does not have more than one million subscribers. I have seen these vlogs for a few months and I like every time, the way they edit, the effort they put each day and the wonderful attitude of the team overkill. Jon is a fantastic person, he does not try to be anyone else simply to be himself, Marcus has a lot of talent and Janni is unique and wonderful.

Jon, I've been following your blogs on and off for 6 or 7 years now, and I must say that throughout all of the different accomplishments and activities you and the team have been able to achieve in the last year, its obvious to me that skiing really is when you're at your happiest! I live and work on a small island for 8 months of the year, and sort of get over skiing each year, only to return to it and wonder how could I want to do anything else. I loved the "Life Upside Down" years with all of the euro traveling via ski-transporter. Hope to see more this winter! - Raymond

Yes you can, you have to go to the Protune settings on your GoPro.. But you need to have a Sesson/GoPro 3+ or Gopro 4.

"Story is king" - thats why i love casey. His vlogs told stories, and the cameras where just there to serve that purpose, as tools. No need for 4K, or slow-mos all the time. But the thing is, I like these videos! I like the quality of the clips! But are they vlogs? More montages? VLOGs for me, are more real and not big production and editing.

Start recording before you start skiing so that the camera and battery heat up a bit. Store the extra batteries in your pocket near your body or a warm bag.

The skiing scene at 5:10 is amazing. I noticed that the middle of the image is always exactly where you are about to go. Not at all the line I would have always picked. Maybe due to the fact that I snowboard and I pick different lines. Super interesting.
