I had a client interview earlier and took your advice (tip#3: be human) by heart (I was watching your vlog while waiting for my turn hihi). He's a British-Australian with thick British accent and was very intimidating at that time because of his poker-face look. Despite of my nervousness, I talked to him like a "professional friend" and I even ask if he speaks or understands Tagalog since he mentioned that he lives here in the Philippines for two years. His face softened, then laughed and said "No, but I'm learning" and he added "you're the first one I interviewed who's curious about my Tagalog knowledge." After few minutes, I was called back and he personally congratulated me for having the job! Thanks Mikey! :)

Mikey, we chinese eat our xiaolongbao in a very specific way. First you use chopsticks to pick it up without breaking the sac, place it on a chinese soup spoon, bite/make a hole, drink and savor the yummy soup first, then lastly, you eat the dumpling. 好吃！😀

When I eat xiao long bao, I make a little hole in the wrapper (usually I just rest the dumpling on the soup spoon so it's easier) and drip some of the black vinegar and ginger inside. Pop it in mouth and experience that yummeh burst of flavours all at once. Da best! 🙃

Hi Mikey and RJ! :) Wanted this share to you the trick to eating xia long bao (soup dumplings). Pick up the dumpling using your chopsticks and place it on a Chinese spoon. Bite the tip of the dumpling and sip out the hot soup. Then dip in black vinegar before consuming it. Hope this helps RJ have a better less painful eating face. Haha! Peace RJ! :) But really, I hope this creates a better rating experience for you guys! :)

I like how to say it "be human" In our training we always say, "be yourself." I also train my students to keep it real so that they can get real answers when they ask the interviewer.. Interviewee is so allowed to ask questions and also assess the company work culture.. If the company interviewer sounds they need a robot and they don't care about work and life balance then that company can be toxic. An employee will always leave a company in less than 3 years.. It will not be good for their employment record.. Toxic company will kill someone's passion for work and life. I've experienced work burn out because I tried to love a toxic company.. The effect was really really bad.. after that I became wiser during job hunting and interview.. I also want my students to be the smartest job hunter. I want them to experience WOW at work. I've learned the domino effect of it.. if one has a happy work life one will grow better as a professional, and they can guide other people better at work and they can become a better leader at work soon.

Those are great tips, Mikey!😄 I hire people for the 3 Brands that I work for in a BPO and I usually get the ones that are looking for great working environment and career growth. People that have salary as one of their main priorities (not that I can blame them) usually only last 6 months or less based on our experience.

Here in hk we eat xiao lung bao just the way we eat balut. You have to bite a little bit the top of the xiao lung bao to make a hole and then next you will sip the soup. 😊😉👍

I own my company and whenever I hire someone I do a tiny test. I always hide pens. And when I have them sign papers I never offer pens and wait for them to see if they pull out their own from a pocket or bag etc. I also look for applicants who donate their time, talents, and means to charitable causes without the motivation for glory, laud, and honour. You'll know the difference between greedy guts and honest givers.

Yummy vlogs hehehe..... Natatakam ako. Reminder guyz, check your health from time to time. Hehehe.... But it's true guyz... #mikey #rj I work and do work at the same time enjoying what i do. I don't settle with work just to get paid. I've been to a small part time jobs (photography) here in UAE and i super love it. (3-4 times a week) from 7or8pm to 12midnight-3am. And at the same time (8am-5pm) as my office working time. I love what i do in the office, and enjoying my night life as a photographer (UAE local weddings around UAE) I'm on vacation now from work (been 2 yrs now) Taking good rest and looking after my Grade 11 son. We're still in UAE, Dubai is our second home. Enjoying time with family and spending time at church activities. Life is good..... God is good.
