Wait until you get someone who knows someone that braids in kasi, you can get your hair done for even less, some charge as low as R250 - R300 which is around $20. We don't have that culture of pricing according to accents, no matter what it is that you're looking for, so if you get that done to you, just know that they're not local.

Hey Queen! I am a new subscriber to your channel and I am totally enjoying your content. I am from Johannesburg and my husband and I just recently relocated to Seattle...lemme tell you honey lol the culture shock is real😅, people generally don't greet, some people always look scared when we approach (we are people of colour) 🤭 and everything is super expensive! We haven't made any friends but we hope we get to soon. Staying glued to your channel, lots of love to you 💕

To be honest our villages are on a hiģh level with mansions and roads not dusty road they show them in the west. saw one with swimming pool South Africa is not soweto , cape town or jorburg. There's more places like Mpumalanga the next developing prov ince. With modern structures.😎

Hello. Thank you for sharing your experiences and views of SA. It’s funny talking about how greetings are viewed in SA vs. US. Definite mindset shift when visiting SA. I’m glad you mentioned being an introvert. I wondered if the friendliness of the SA people would encourage more social interaction or if there is a balance of solo and people time. You answered that for me. SA sounds wonderful. Looking forward to visiting.

Most of our other African brothers and sisters see foreigners as an opportunity to make money or for men a way to get documents. And the thing is most of our AA sisters and brothers can’t tell the deference between a South African or other Africans, when something bad happens for them it’s a South African. Pls be careful and I would stick With the local people of the country in whoever country I go to.

You got all the important basic rights. South Africans feed on your energy, if you are kind and humble we will take care of you. If you are the opposite of that , TJO , good luck mntase. Next time you visit CT find your people...those who look like you. There is culture, you may have not had the right people with you. By the way, we call CT Europe 😂😂😂 I live here. We love how you guys speak and we appreciate you guys and have been part of our upbringing ...you know what I mean. So do visit the EC and KZN there is so much to see. Am glad you had a good time.
