DC area is great. Paid off house or car working 2 jobs and not really buying anything else. Only bought assets within a long-term investment strategy afterwards. Made pulling out easier. Only property taxes utilities groceries yearly. But what I hate about my car is the mandatory 2k yearly for insurance just to keep the tags. Tempted to move to bus stops next year. Unlimited regional bus pass yearly is $700, and have heavy groceries shipped to the doorstep. Anything else spent goes to gifts and toys.
