Have you been to Sanaag? The biggest and most beautiful region of Somaliland is also where most Somali clans' ancestors lived. It has some ancient sights, including the ancient queen Araweelo's grave. Mountains, some of them with gravity, that light items do not go down but come back up high and flout. It has waterfalls, frankincense, and lots of big trees, some centuries old. It's an evergreen landscape with underground gold and many other resources and a sea.

love this can't believe yours so close to my hometown Sly !! i suggest you go to berbera beach which is close to where you are and if you do end up travelling to other parts of somalia the areas closest to the red sea are the best. Places like muqdisho with many beaches or Marrero beach ( you legit have the whole beach to yourself there haha) and towns like EYL known as the maldives of somalia , somalia has been blessed with the longest coastline and best seafood it's one of the best things about the country you need to try it ! can't wait to see more somali content ( p.s maybe connect with samiya Hashi - the somaliland tourist she's famous for showing around great areas and life there shes a amazing person who decided to leave canada and enjoy the calm beautiful life and build a farm in Hargeisa. With the easy communication and knowing the best places im sure she'd show you around!!! )

Somaliland has different countries foods. Even American burger, Italian pizza, Ethiopian food and other parts including foods from other Somali countries like the Shuuro, Digir from Somalia. Somaliland cuisine is normally Asian Afro rice meat and vegetables. Also we don’t eat miiro but this is a recent addition from Kenya. We normally eat the milder Khaat from Ethiopia or home grown types. Miiro is potent and damaging to the mind as it genetically modified.

I grew up around Somalis and i can tell you that they're perhaps the most honest people I've ever met, so I'm not surprised on the absence of security around that huge pile of money. If not for Al Shabab and the political situation, Somalia/Somaliland would be the most crime free country in the world. The Somali women are also the only women that i have not seen get involved in prostitution.
