Amazing video. Dogs were very cute. And the CCS exhibition looked like fun. BTW, I don't think the Harry Potter store is a pop-up. It was already there March last year. Unless it's a really long pop-up.

It would be so cool to see you try Japanese style beauty treatments, hair, make-up, makeovers, etc. And wouldn't it be fun for you, too? FFXIV gets so good later on, I'm not sure any game can ever compare to it for me. I've cried multiple times. You got this!! Early MSQ is very slow but it is so worth it

I feel the subtle merch vibe. My favorite type of merch is clothing, that just looks like regular clothing, unless you know what it is. A friend of mine has the Steinsgate timer thing on one of his shirts and it is awesome!

people say "don't skip the story" for ff14, but honestly the early hours were so rough for me, that i would have quit if i hadn't skipped. if thats the case, then its better you skip it and then come back to the story if youre curious. early levels on keyboard and regular mouse is okay, but as you level up you'll get like 20 skills that you gotta use semi regularly. if you struggle to reach your entire keyboard with one hand, and only have a regular mouse (as opposed to an MMO mouse with a dozen buttons) look into plugging in a ps4/5 controller, it was such a gamechanger for me and my tiny baby hands. have fun!

Love all the Sakura merhc you got! I would also spend way too much lol it's impossible not to. Also good luck with ffxiv!! ARR is definitely a bit rough to get to but once you get to Heavensward and the later expansions, the story is SO amazing! There is an insane amount of stuff to do in the game as well! I hope you enjoy it to the fullest!

Feet size trick, for most people the length of their foot is the same as the length of their forearm from their wrist to their inner elbow. Good for eyeballing shoe sizes. 👍

I’d definitely continue on with XIV if you can get through the main story of ARR, as it really picks up when you get to the first expansion. I’ve been playing for almost 12 years, and luckily they’ve streamlined a lot of stuff for newer players these days!! Loved seeing all the stuff you picked up at the Cardcaptor exhibition, thanks for another great vid!

Used to be obsessed with Cardcaptor too back in high school and college, especially with the soundtrack. And now I get to share the anime with my 9 year old daughter and she loves it too. Btw, Allison, I think your room’s ceiling light might be too white. A warmer bulb will really warm up the room and your skin tone. Unsure if it’s possible to change it in an apartment.

Interesting how most items cost roughly the same. Though getting the correct size, when everything comes in a plastic bag is the real gamble. Also, White Mage all day. Tip! Don't stray to far from the main story line until you finish "Grand Companies". You'll finally unlock the ability to use mounts and get a free Chocobo. Then wonder to all the side quests.

Oh, the Gifu mug!! I love it, where'd you get it? Several years ago Starbucks had tumblers that represented each prefecture and I bought myself a Gifu one. But then I broke it, wah!! When I returned to Japan last year I wanted to get something similar, but the current SB merch in Japan is so boring, imo. I did get a very pretty year of the dragon tumbler at a Hong Kong Starbucks, though.

Been playing FFXIV on the NA datacenter since 2016 or so. Yeah the starting storyline is rough (I hear they streamlined it a bit); but it starts to get better once you get to the HeavensWard expansion stuff (it's now part of the F2P package - when I started in 2016, F2P ended at level 30 way before HW, now you can play to Lvl 70 - which is up through the Stormblood expansion.) I pretty much stick to DPS jobs- I have a Lvl 90 Hyur and my main/favorite job is Monk; but I've made it to Lvl 90 on Dancer and Reaper as well; 83 on Paladin and 67 on Gunbreaker. I still find the game and all the obvious Anime references in it fun or I wouldn't still be playing it.

Cute doggies! Glad to hear this one wasn't sketchy. I haven't gone to any as I never know how ethical they are with the dogs treatment. Why not a cat? Your space is plenty for a sweet cat.They're a bit more independent, and sleep for half the day. I may be biased though as a current cat owner😂 I still love dogs and grew up with one though so I understand!

A twitch account and play Final Fantasy on there or do IRL‘s of Japan and Tokyo. There are Japanese and Americans that do that in Japan and apparently you couldn’t make some money doing that not everybody but it’s a way to spread your social media more I think you’d be good at it, take a look at others are doing it in Japan and you can do Twitch and KZbin now together that’s new

I think our generation has a consumption problem is that just me or does anyone else feel like we are all overly pressured to spend spend spend. I like seeing $$ in my bank versus a top I’m gonna throw out in like 3 months cause it’s pilling a ton or the trend changed and I don’t like it anymore. Any recommendations on good quality brands that last a long time and make less waste?

I love the dog café, I’m thinking about getting a doodle myself here. But I like you and my lifestyle sometimes doesn’t seem like the right fit. By the way, just a sidenote, dogs have chakras too. That’s why they like to cuddle with us. It’s like an energy exchange.❤ And I wish they had those noise level meters at all construction sites. Noise pollution has become a real issue. And I don’t think people even realize it.
