Every drawer you pulled out, I laughed even more. It is clear Sumi don't be in that kitchen for real. Lol Hubby's modified, sitting shimmy told me everything I needed to know about that cake. Carrot cake is one of my favorite desserts, with a cup of coffee or tea, chef's kiss. Add some pineapple and pecans to really enrich it. I know you two have healthy hearts because the laughter is contagious. I wait for your blogs like clockwork. Love them, keep 'em coming. ❤

Looked delicious…Bakers tip : butter than flour your pan, butter alone just mixes into the cake…also a warm damp dish towel on the back of your pan or dish along with gravity should help a stuck cake release

Just a little tip after you put shortening on your pan coated with flour code the whole inside with flour and it will come out not breaking up.

@@SavannahSylver oh no!!!! Try doing a pumpkin bread or muffin next time, it is a fall 🍁 🌻 specialty, or pumpkin spice syrup for coffee, hot chocolate, or lattes. Here in America, there is a baking spray that comes with flour in it see if you can find that, or line the baking pan with parchment paper.

That cake looked amazing! Next time, use some pan release so your cake doesn't decide to be disobedient and stay in the pan. It's easy to make too! You just need equal parts vegetable oil, shortening and flour. Whisk it together until it has the consistency of icing. Put it in an airtight container and put in in the cabinet. It keeps for about 2 months - just in case you wanna bake again anytime soon.
