Hi! First time watcher 🙋🏾‍♀️ here to your channel and I have to commend you for this video 👏🏾because it captured most of my own experience last week in a way many outside of LA will not understand with more accuracy about what is happening here. I agreed with much of what you had to say. There is ALOT of misinformation and insensitivity being promoted on Social Media and as a Native, born & raised here, I have never seen anything like this happen! I moved to Pasadena 5 years ago and was experiencing the Eaton Fire first hand along with other fires that were not even reported on. The full scope of what has happened here eclipses the 92’ LA Riots, the Northridge Earthquake which toppled the 10 freeway down the street from me, and even the recent Pandemic and all these I mentioned have left their mark in my memory. It was terrifying but I’m so glad I know God and was protected from harm. Yet, I have seen and know so many people who are sad and grieving right now and I share their hurt and send up prayers 🙏🏾 for all of us with compassion and sending Love over hate. Be safe everyone and be kind to one another. There is still much to be grateful for and we must help each other.

I'm a new sub. It's good to listen to what you've got to say. I"ve found myself snapping at people making "religious" comments about "'god' not being scorned" and "Amen" for the fires, casting dispersion and somehow comparing events to Gaza. This is why our world is so f'ked up. This is why we took our government in that direction, again. There are too many unloving, uncaring, mindless individuals that have their hearts full of hate and revenge. I don't care how much money someone makes or doesn't make; I don't like seeing people lose their homes, lives, businesses, whathaveyou. Too many people take joy in the misfortunes of others, or they imagine "karma" had a hand. All of it is a misuse of our spirituality and creative power to love and care. I haven't been out to LA in awhile, but was just in San Diego for Christmas. I live in Montpelier and Burlington, Vermont. My heart goes out to all of you! All of you! It doesn't matter. You're ALL HUMAN.
