Manila is good to stay when you have lots of money, you can't buy foods if your money left is 20 pesos only, while in Cebu you can buy mongo or vegetables for 10pesos and pancit 10pesos only in your favorite carenderia. Manila is too crowded, and traffic anywhere you go.

Only 3 things sa observation ko naka lamang ang ncr. #1. siyempre the national government #2. majority ng corporate offices #3. Population. Cebu is doing fine, economically, tourism, nature, less pollution, education, food security, mas closer to mindanao and sa the rest of visayas, less crime, less population, less corruption, no insurgency, infrastructures in some parts mas better pa nga ang Cebu, like our new bridge, safari zoo, 5 star resorts and spas, ocean park, airport, domestic and international seaport and pagdating sa skyscrapers meron din kami not as much as ncr nga lang. Cebu dahil maliit lang na metro mas balance dahil marami pa ang nature at mas closer lang 30 to an hour andun kana sa beach or mountain resorts. Yun lang naman.

Life quality, I'll go for Cebu Why? When it comes to cleanliness mas malinis ang Cebu and its near to almost everything, mountains and beaches plus the food 👌 delicious😊 While Manila is chaotic.... but What I like about the Luzon area is the northern part, Ilocos, Baguio City and Batanes 😍 before Clark Airport kami kasi we wanted to skip the Manila Airport, aside from sobrang traffic, chaotic talaga, but Im glad na may Baguio Airport na 😊

This reminds me so much of an article/blog (From Cebu to Manila: Bisaya in the big city by Nile Villa) I read from Rappler a long time ago. I think if you want to, you can easily make a 2 - 3 part vlog out of it. I don't want to spoil it for you but basically you girls share the same experience and she also has this myths and facts about Manila and I think it will be great to see what will be your reactions about 'em. And yeah I really enjoyed watching this video. A bisdak giving good praises about Manila or Metro Manila is such a "rare event" it only happens once in a million, in a blue moon and I'm not even exaggerating ☺️. So yeah thank you so much. Im from Cebu, I have lived in Manila for the last 15 yrs. when d company where I worked transferred me there. At first it was exciting for me living there for I was young & adventurous then but as years went by I feel lonesone & missed my family so I request to be transferred back to Cebu, which I did and am here back to my Cebu where I was born. The thing I really hate about Manila is the traffic, I worked in Makati & when I decided to get malling at nearby SM City Mandaluyong w/c is only a few km from my office, it took nearly 1 hr. to get me there & when I arrived there is less than an hr. to do some shopping before closing time mostly at 7 pm. I also dont like d long lines at d counter when dining at fast foods like Jollibee or McDo & at bus or jeepney stations, etc. So I decided that this kind of life is not for me, so I decidexbto go back to Cebu where life is more relaxed & slow paced compared to Manila.

@Emmanuel Bade correct sanayan lng yan. As i do live at cebu ng 8 yrs. Frm manila, nag expand a company nmin sa cebu and dahil i want to be independent eh nagpatransfer me to cebu. As you say, sanayan lng yan and thats why tumgal me ng 8 yrs sa cebu. Actually di n nalalayo ang manila sa cebu. Sa traffic at baha haha.

I'm much more preferred to Cebu than Manila. However though, Manila has plenty things to do than Cebu. For example I'm a member to the Furry Community and the main convention is on Manila while Cebu doesn't have one. So in conclusion, I like both cities, just the traffic isn't.

Nakaka amazed na hanngang ngayon marami parin di nakakaintindi ng composition ng tao sa metro manila. Sasabihin na ayaw ko sa ncr kasi mga tagalog mga ganito. Hwag nyo itulad ang ncr sa ibang lugar sa pilipinas. Ang mga tao dito hindi lang tagalog halo halo na. Sa tagal ko nag wowork dito mabibilang ko lang sa daliri ko ang mga tao na likas na tigarito karamihan may probinsya. NCR is a representation not of tagalogs but of all filipinos. Pumunta ka nga lang ng palangke may maririnig kang nag bibisaya. Yung manager mo tanungin mo baka cebuano pa nga. ganun ka diverse dito. Mismong si isko moreno na mayor dati eh taas kalang ng isang level parents nya tiga samar.

What i want to point out is hindi lang turista dito ang mga bisaya they are here in every level of society. Wala kang mababasa na sinabi ko bisaya ang majority na dayo dito ang pinaka obvious na makikita mo sa mga cebuano or bisaya na comment eh pag hindi nag bisaya at nasa ncr eh manileno or tagalog agad. To give you guys a good perspective ang tao ncr ay 15 milyon na may approximately 600 sq kilometer halos 4 times mas maliit sa cebu island. Pero ang tao mas marami pa sa buong region 7 na may populasyon lang na 8 milyon. Gayan karami tao sa metro manila mga tiga luzon lang ba yan? Di sana most deserted place ang southern tagalog sila pinakamalpait sa ncr eh. pero hindi pangalawa to sa ncr na pinupuntahan ng mga tao at ito ang region na may pinakamaraming tao region 4a. So saan galing mga tao? Sa buong pilipinas and yes marami dyan bisaya. Ang pasahero sa mrt nasa 500k kada araw bago mag pandemic mas marami pa sa buong populasyon ng mandaue city.

Ang census ang nagsabi na 54% pure tagalog manileno ang majority sa ncr, which makes sense dahil territory nyo yan, bakit naglaho ba ang lahi nyo or nag family planning to the max na hindi na kayo nag multiply?🤣 isama mo na rin ang taga probinsya nyong katagalogan like Aurora, quezon, batangas, mindoro, laguna, bulacan,etc. plus tge rest of Luzon, so it should be close to 80% na taga Luzon ang majority sa ncr?🤣

@@ermievalencia2562 what about CCLEX? it's just a bridge, Manila has the longest bridge in the country (Skyway Stage 3) If you live in Urban Cebu and work at corporate, how often do you go to the beaches? I'm gonna be shocked if you say you to there every once a week. Manila has access to the whole Luzon, You could go to Tagaytay and the beaches of Mariveles. Food is subjective, While I may find lechon and mangoes to be superior in Cebu I find veggies and other kinds of food in the NCR more appetizing. As for the International Airport, if you live at Northern NCR you could use the Clark International Airport. Cebu is just as stressful as Manila. After all its a urbanized city.

Been through manila and cebu but prefer cebu.. manila kse crowded polluted.. food is not as good as visayas and mindanao lalo na seafoods. Even mga friend kong foreigner much prefer cebu because its cleaner than manila... Also lowest iq in the philippines is "manila" and mostly sa "tagalog reklamador" lol

Nkakatawa naman dami parin di alam composition ng tao sa ncr. Yung mga reklamador na sinasabi mo tanungin mo kung ano probinsya lol. Bihira kana makakita ng pure na tiga manila yung walang probinsya. So hwag nyo igaya yung ncr sa ibang lugar kasi dito halo halo ang tao. Sa over 10 years nakong nag wowork dito mga wala pa si 5 na tao ang nakilala ko na walang probinsya. Aral aral minsan.

Ncr kasi pre mahirap kana makakahanap ng talagang manileno. I currently live across il corso which is a very quiet area but often take motorbike to my destinations but want to learn the local way of using jeepneys.

There are no jeepneys in that route, only Taxi's, Motorcycle (Habal-habal), and Bus will passed in that route.

welcome to cebu!. Our jeepneys have alphanumeric coding that will serve as a guide for commuters. Per alphanumeric coding, there are different routes. Unfortunately, there are no jeepneys in your area but there are buses, motorcycles and taxis around. You can also book grab :) enjoy living here!

Ito na naman yung mga regionalistic Cebuano na nagsasabi na galit sila sa Maynila dahil arogante daw ang mga Tagalog na nakatira doon. Girl, for real. Do some research. According to the 2010 Census which includes ethnicity, only 54% of Manileños are Ethnic Tagalogs. More than 20% of Manileños are Ethnic Visayans. Which shows how ethnically and racially diverse Manila is. Sa Maynila lang posible mangyari na ang isang Ivatan at isang Tausug ay magkasalubong at maging tropa sa iisang kalsada. Maybe totoo yan stereotype na yan noong unang panahon, 60s or 70s. But not now. Ang laki laki na ng pinagbago ng Maynila. Wag kayong magagalit pag nagtanong ang Manileño ng "saan ang probinsiya mo". Ibig sabihin nun interesado talaga sila na malaman ang mga info about sa'yo, hindi dahil minamaliit nila ang provincial background mo. And also, Manila is less homophobic and more tolerant of LGBT people compared to other cities in the Philippines. Kahit saan sa Maynila ay makakakita ka ng gay and lesbian couples na magkahawak kamay and no one bats an eyelash. Kung sa ibang cities yan sa Pilipinas kagaya ng Cebu or Davao, baka pinagtsismisan ka na kung LGBT couple kayo ng jowa mo.

Im from Cebu maybe Im just bias but for me Cebu is more well balanced, it has a city comparable to any city in Metromanila. Cebu is more closer to nature, and while Metromanila is bigger, it is a concrete jungle, its more like New York vs Hawaii for me.

Sebobo is an island if they go to other provinces they need to use a boat unlike metro manila when you decide to go to provinces you can travel via land transportation it is more balanced because it connected to the beautiful provinces of luzon

@@boypalanyag2325 Agree kaya nga karamihan ng skwaters sa ncr ay puro galing sa probinsya ng luzon kasi malapit lang 8.8% bicolano, 6.5% Ilokano, batangeno, Mindoro,Quezon, etc. Lahat yan mahihirap na probinsya sa luzon kaya nagsisiksikan dyan sa skwater, ang mahihirap sa bisayas at mindanao hindi maka afford ng pamasahe papunta dyan dahil mahal. 🤣

Ive lived both in manila and cebu. Ang ma ingun ra nako, mas mahal ang cost of living sa cebu kesa sa manila. Akong 100 pesos sa manila, pamasahe 3 rides plus maka breakfast/ lunch pako. Sa cebu ang 100 pamasahe ra. 😌 mas mahal pud ang utility bills sa cebu. Sa manila 24 hrs ang aircon with some other appliances, almost 2k lang. sa cebu 5 hrs ra naka aircon and same appliances 2,500 up na. Sa food like carenderias or turo3 medjo mahala ang manila.

I was born in Cebu raised in Manila. Ang reason why higher ang minimum wage sa Manila tungod kay higher ang cost of living nila naay mas cheaper didtu maybe ang electricity but total cost of living mahal jud didtu. Wa lang ko kasabut nga cheaper didtu when you have to take 2 to 3 rides to get to your destination when in Cebu you only take 1 to 2 rides? Mas baratu na ba ang plete nila didtu compared sa Cebu? Lived in Manila for 32 years.
