Angela, I loved this series so much! I never missed an episode. I liked the characters and the fast pace. I think mom and dad were aging out. Like physically and mentally. Maybe now.. I thought it was odd too when it ended. I was surpised. I like to laugh. it releases the good hormones in our bodies. Sitcomes (good ones) do that for me.

Hi Angela! I LOVED Life in Pieces! Some great physical comedy. I have two favorite scenes. And Colin Hanks is a fantastic actor. Not like his dad but out on his own and different. It has a great cast. I actually had some conversations with the actresses that played Sofia (the youngest girl, my absolute favorite character!) and Matt's wife, Colleen, on Twitter. I can't remember what happened in season 4 that would have gotten annoying. I've watched the series a few times too. It shouldn't have gotten cancelled so soon. I don't like most modern sitcoms (except the new Frasier) but ones before this one and in the 90s were generally fantastic. Great review!

I love sitcoms. I will play them in the background for their familiar voices just to have something playing. Everybody Loves Raymond, Roseanne, etc…. Like you say, you can watch but not be heavily invested.
