It never ceases to amaze me how much Anakin was willing to sacrfice about himself when it came down to his family, he gave up his innocene in oder to avenge his mother, he sacrficed his soul in the effort of trying to save wife and unbon children and ultimately scraficed his life in oder to save his son, this imo is what makes him such a tragic figure not only is he the man who lost everything he is the person who was willing to scarfice eveything about himfself down to his very soul in oder to safe those he loves.

All Anakin wanted was love. He knew if he lost Padme he wouldn't have Love in his life anymore. The Jedi council did not love him. Didn't praise him. In fact, they weren't sure if they could even trust him. If the Council put a little more faith in him and if Anakin had more private sessions with Yoda about self-control and fear, I think Anakin would have been able to make the better decisions. Instead, he's appointed to represent Palpatine to spy on him (which is treason). You know the rest.

Had to come back and watch this nine years later. Great video. The last minute of this video is probably the best of a Star Wars video ever. In particular, the part where Anakin turns to look at Padme, but it's actually Luke. You are truly the best, Jonde.

Poor Anakin - I always felt sorry for him - and when he was Anakin-Jedi, and when he was a Darth Vader. He was an unhappy man, he just needed a strong shoulder, but he rejected the Obi-Wan, though he tried to support him. But it's good that he is back on the Light Side in the end. Wonderful video! So touching. Star Wars - movie of my childhood.

Just realised... Shmi died in her son's arms while Anakin was like "Stay with me, mom", Anakin died in HIS son's arms, as Luke was like "Father... I won't leave you..."... Wonder if it's yet aNOTHER Skywalker trait/running joke, to die in your son's arms while they beg you to stay alive? XD First trait was that Skywalkers are always whiny emos during their teens, then they grow up to be the best and one of the last of what they are in their time/era. Hmm. Wonder if Leia is going to die in Ben/Kylo's arms?

I love this song, I love red, and I LOVE Star Wars. So for me to find this was amazing! Perfect perfect video. Btw, I so wish the ending for this story could've been different. Anakin and Padme deserve a happy life together and Palpatine...he deserves to be thrown out a very high window into a pit of lava. Loved the video!

This is an excellent video, I feel that you were able to convey Anakin's emotions spectacularly! But what really gets me is that at the last 'call my name' there is the clip of Luke calling out to his father. This is really significant to me, because of all Anakin's turmoil between the light and dark side, leaving him with some identity issues (I think) he'll still always be 'Father' to Luke, whether his name is Anakin Skywalker or Darth Vader :)
