My husband and I lived off the Myrtle-Wyckoff stop almost 10 years ago.. long before it was really being gentrified.. then we moved to Williamsburg and hated it.. and then went on to live in Sugar HIll in Harlem until we left the city. You two are AWESOME to watch.. thanks for keeping us entertained!

Tralala Loopy Right? The animation was inspired by the banner designed by Jeremy's brother.

That is a very interesting and drastic contrast from where I live, but your descriptions were good and hilarious. There are no passenger trains here, the only one was shut down and removed in the 1940s. It's very rural. I LOVE the idea of passenger trains though and wish we had it back! Not exactly the same kind of train as you have.

Omg, when you told us the story on the train and how disappointed someone would be if they missed it was SO FUNNY!!!! It would be like going through all that work for nothing. If I was there, I would block the doors so people could rush in, cause I'm a nice person :) Love you guys!!! The Two Beeps are my peeps :D EDIT: Also, please tell more stories :)

Magnifico! I was born in Bensenhurst, and lived my early life midway between the T and the N (West End/SeaBeach - don't know the letters anymore) on Bay Pkwy. It used to be a nice Jewish/Italian neighborhood (perfect mix), but now it's very different (non mi piace).
@TwoBeeps9 жыл бұрын
cjay2 Wow! I'm sure Brooklyn has changed massively since you lived here. There isn't even a "T" line anymore! I know a couple people who live in Bensonhurst, and we tease them for living so far away haha. Grazie CJay! Ci parliamo presto.

Two Beeps I actually plan to move to Brooklyn (possibly Bushwick) in the fall and you guys are totally right. Apartments in Brooklyn have become the equivalent in price to Midtown Manhattan. I am still debating if I want to just live in the city or pay the same to have to take the subway every day from Brooklyn. What do you guys think? A great point though was the price of everything else in the city. Question? What type of rent should I expect? I have found a couple places, in Williamsburg, East Williamsburg, Downtown BK, Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo surprisingly but I don't know if I am being taken advantage of with the prices. I've found a place for each and will visit in a few weeks to decide which neighborhood is the best for me. I like to have the city at my doorstep with a cultured, neighborly environment in my surroundings. I really enjoy cooking and entertaining. And I am all about adventures in and out of the city. I must have diversity. Any suggestions?
@TwoBeeps9 жыл бұрын
Christopher Davis Hey Christopher! Glad to hear you're planning on moving to our amazing city. Choosing a neighborhood to live in can be tricky, so we're happy to help in any way we can. The Brooklyn neighborhoods you mentioned are definitely the most expensive markets in our borough (but are also rich in culture and stuff to do, though not necessarily the most diverse). If your budget would allow you to live in any of these neighborhoods, you should consider looking in Manhattan as well. Personally, we'd recommend the East Village. The price point is similar to Williamsburg & DUMBO and there's plenty of diversity. Plus, the East Village is home to some amazing dining opportunities - literally at your doorstep - and you don't need to rely on the subway! If your budget isn't as grand as you initially thought, we'd recommend any of these budding neighborhoods: Harlem, Washington Heights, Astoria, Long Island City, Ridgewood, Bushwick, Bed Stuy, Crown Heights, Prospect Heights, Sunset Heights, Flatbush.

you should state what the subscribers could send you. I send gift certificates to youTubers for "Subway, Target and Starbucks". could you use any or all of these? paying your rent is not an option. lol. but there are subscribers that sent amazon gift cards so the person can get what they want. Let us know, I am all for helping staving and creative youTubers such as yourselves. Thanks for sharing.

Hey William, You are welcome to send us whatever you want! We aren't really expecting anything monetary, but I guess Amazon or Target gift cards are the most applicable for us. It is certainly expensive here, but we're by no means starving :) Good old fashioned hand-written letters are just fine - and we may even write back!
