I think Indonesian language is actually an easy language to learn, what makes it hard is there are too many words that can replace each other when we're using it in a daily conversations

english too, one word could have more than 1 meanings, you can easily find it on dictionary, even though in one word, it has different meanings just by the pronunciation itself, the same way in Bahasa too

Indonesia has been known as an open country defined in Pancasila but in the last few years conservatives rampant, try to skew the openness into something like North Korea in which we must stand our ground to fight against 😊

Where exactly in Pancasila is mentioned the fact of Indonesia being an open country?
@affandyd2178
@affandyd2178 Жыл бұрын
@@AD-bx2xo what exactly makes a country considered open states or close states?
@mri4737
@mri4737 Жыл бұрын
@@AD-bx2xo I think from every sila. Even tho its not explicitly say "open country" or "negara terbuka" atau "negara kita harus terbuka" but we can conclude/learn that from understanding the 5 sila themselves. Especially the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th sila. The 2nd sila teach about "Just (as in justice or adil/keadilan) and Civilized/Humane (Berada) Humanity. The 3rd teach that all of Indonesian should unite (what is that if not being open to everybody). And the 5th sila teach that there must be social justic for all Indonesians. All 3 of those sila teach that there have to be some openness if we want to treat and be treated humanely, to have justice, and to unite. Because we are all different but we are "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" are we not? or are you rejecting our Indonesian's principle.
@AD-bx2xo
@AD-bx2xo Жыл бұрын
@@mri4737 Sila 2: “A humanity that is just and civilized”. No word in there is interchangeable with any notion of openness, not “humanity”, definitely not “just”, and neither is “civilized”, unless one is willing to conflate the word “civility” with “openness” which would be a gross instance of gerrymandering of the definition of both words especially when one can as easily make the case that it is exactly the closedness of a society that allows it to maintain a stable customs and and reliably consistent systems of interrelationship courtesy under minimum threat of potential dissolution by contamination of adversarial influence from without. This is a reach at minimum. Sila 3: “The union of Indonesia”. To unite is to be open only to those within the union, that is what makes the members of a union united, by definition. To be otherwise, or to expand this phrase into your definition of it, is to require a modification of this Sila into saying, “The union of the world”. Which way Indonesian man? Sila 5: “Social justice for all Indonesian citizenry”. Does this mean the upholding of the justice system as such or the upholding of a social justice doctrine of the equal distribution of wealth and authority towards all conceivably categorizable traits of the Indonesian polity, a doctrine currently popular in the west? Either way, it would be interesting to ask you, what kind of openness do you feel is necessary for Indonesians to adopt? Is it in the sense of immigration, ideational, economics, technological, arts, fashion, industry, militaristic, gender ideology, or anything else most particularly? And to your final question, it is not possible for one to accept nor reject any principle that are internally contradictory, paradoxical, tautologous, or vague, except under sheer drunkenness, in which case drunkenness is one’s principle. Please, do argue with me if you disagree with any of my characterization.

bahasan tentang 'manusia indonesia' selalu menarik buat gue sih. by consensus, gak ada satu pun gen murni di nusantara (cuz we know where homo sapiens originated). for me, that is what convinces me that national identity is not about possession. punya ktp atau paspor atau akte lahir sekalipun itu hanya bentuk formalitas aja. as long as you nurture and uphold your want-to-believe values and behaviors, they will become a cultural mark. jadi kehadiran manusia (((warga negara))) bukan jadi penanda budaya suatu bangsa, but it's actually the other way around. keberadaan budaya justru sebagai penanda manusia, yang menjaga dan melestarikannya :)

when indah brought the topic of AI, gosh it's so on point. karena tempo hari pun gue liat video tiktok, salah satu paslon, lagi diomelin sama ketua timnas-nya dalam bentuk voice note. now for the supporters of that presidential candidate, it sounds fake, because it IS AI. kami pendukung paslon tersebut tahu bagaimana cara omong serta nada paslon yang difitnah. tapi gimana dengan orang yg tidak familiar, pasti kemakan bulat-bulat. it's so scary how this post-truth worlds work.

I feel the same broo, I can relate to both Indah & Andovi cause I grew up abroad in vienna, Austria from kindergarten up till elementary school 3rd grade and moved to Tokyo, Japan from 3rd grade up until 8th grade throughout my middle school years and moving back to vienna, Austria from 9th grade through 12th grade completing my high school then moving to Indonesia to live, study, and completing my bachelor degrees, i really do relate to Andovi growing up for almost all of my life in an international school environment does effect alot regarding social skills, and the way you communicate and express yousrself is completely different when i started studying and living in Jakarta, Indonesia. Culture Shock is real, identity crisis is real, being a third culture kid is hard cause you always have to adapt to the new environement and the worst is that you may feel that you do not belong in your home country.
