I love the Treehouse Masters, they make super unique treehouses, but on top of that, they really are in tune with what nature is doing, taking care to keep the footprint of the structure to a minimum so it blends in with the trees they use. And of course it also blends so well with the tiny house idea, so this was a great video to watch!

@drd.n46955 жыл бұрын
The man could have made the shower area more functional by considering a toilet and a facility of shower with or without the roof. That would make this place more habitable year round. I would equally expect the birds keen on shitting around if they find the back space habitable ... The interiors are splendid but you are right: so much money for so less facilities. And I didn't like the trees expected to bear the load. Hmmm ...

@roypatterson99105 жыл бұрын
@@smieszek8080 yeah, but you have to remember that there's a lot of steel that's being used to build this tree house, which steel is more expensive than wood, not only that, it's also stronger than wood, so you have to take this into consideration. Another thing, it's built out of mostly cedar, which is more expensive than just regular wood, which cedar will last forever.

I love Treehouse Masters!!🌄🌲🌳 Most of the treehouses I see Pete and his team build on the show, are in people's backyards or properties, and aren't usually meant to be a main home. More of a fun extra space for established adults who always wanted a treehouse as a kid, or retreat for parents, or space for the grandkids or whatnot. But absolutely a treehouse COULD become a full-functioning tiny home with a bathroom and bigger kitchen, and whatever else you'd need, and with the tiny house movement becoming bigger and bigger, Pete and his team will probably get more calls to build them. The thing about Pete Nelson's builds that i notice the most on his show, is the absolutely insanely amazing attention to detail in the craftsmanship. It's so impressive the perfect curves joinery of the finished project, as many treehouses aren't in a typical tiny house box pattern that seems much easier to work with, and the many whimsical extras that go into each treehouse inside and out that make each of his builds completely unique and different, and perfectly tailored to the client's dream treehouse. Definitely check it out on Animal Planet if you've got it. :)

@Kellogg's I don't think you know what pain is in terms of what it is for. Pain is a warning response to let you know something is dangerous, and to stop or get away. It would make 0 sense for a tree to have pain receptors, as it can't do anything with that information. It's rooted in place, and has no means of locomotion. About 1 percent of a tree is actually alive. The inner bark, the leaves, and the roots. The rest of the tree is pretty much dead. That's why you see trees with massive hollows in them that provide nesting for other animals still growing.
@steeldriver17764 жыл бұрын
I'm only an engineer through the week, but given the weight of this house and how it's attached, you could easily brace it for removal and install elsewhere. The I-beams would be re-attached to new trees, adjusted where needed and the building placed again on the I beams. You'd see disease coming with enough warning and the move would cost about $8K, more for professionals and less to DIY with equipment rental.

I've seen trees that big and sturdy get uprooted and topple over. Part of the "engineering" aspect must include picking the right trees in the right land, understanding the local weather and possibilities for soil erosion, and part of living in a treehouse must include caring for the health of the trees. I'm sure it's no small feat to create a treehouse that's really going to last.

I absolutely love the tree house and the wood work & color scheme and the warmth wood adds.

The opening commentary is unique each time and connects to the upcoming video. The signature tune is simply amazing followed by the mnemonic! I know it's about tiny houses but please consider showing videos about people living in tiny houses and growing their own food and living sustainably.

This is my plan when I build my tiny house! I want to build a beautiful, salvage/recycled material treehouse in the woods. It'll be fun!

And when you do, let me know so I can come and film a tour! :) I would love to do a treehouse project myself one day.

That is a beautiful, gorgeous treehouse. I would love to have this company build an Art Studio treehouse here at our home in AZ. However with an indoor shower and bathroom!

To be honest, I live 1 hr away from Seattle Washington, and you would not be able to take a shower outside 5 months of the year, the weather would be way too cold

What about ants and bugs? And bird poop? -- and spiders?!
@livingbig7 жыл бұрын
I don't suppose it would be any more than any other cabin or home in the forest. Certainly we didn't notice anything while we were there.

I wouldn't mind bugs if they didn't love biting me. Seems I'm top shelf dining for insects and aracnids.

Barbara Ludden Eh that’s the downside. I don’t even use to public bathrooms to take a squat. It would be cool for a summer home but I wouldn’t live in it personally. It’s awesome though

I'm so glad you've done a tree house episode can I also love watching treehouse Masters and this episode was one of my favorites.Bryce as I've stated many times you are the reason why I'm late to work every morning cuz I cannot stop watching your videos your work has changed my whole perspective of where I want to spend the rest of my life and how I want to spend it ! 🙂 my name is Gregg Savage from Enfield Connecticut. I am the owner and operator of a motor sports business and as with any garage style workplace there is always clutter and mess. So when I do finally retire in the near future I'm going to take a 180 and minimalize everything. Your videos have given me so many ideas, you have no idea how much you have inspired me and many others No Doubt. Please keep doing what you're doing !
