Yeah Better live in this type small but luxurious home instead of taking huge loan and spent your life in fear of paying mortgage on time. We can also add one wooden room on the deck later to make room for the daughter when she is like 15 yrs old. Add some removable mirrors on the deck so that it can used as big living room outside and then put some curtains if you need some privacy.

"We were just that normal family in a rental" 'There is absolutely nothing special about us". I have watched many many wonderful videos on this channel, but this is the first time I have been moved to tears. What is profoundly special about Sarah and Russell and girls, is that, as a 'normal family living in a rental' their values motivated them to take that sideways step to tiny home living. Love and simple living means so much more to them than 'stuff', and 'big' and so on. Perhaps there is hope for families to be able to survive this growing housing crisis in our beautiful New Zealand, and stay in control of how they wish to live. Thank you - my day is brighter

I'm an old Navy Brat. Both my parents served during the Vietnam war (Dad was stationed in the Antarctic the year I was born and brought Sea World's penguins back with him when he came home for the summer). We moved cross country every 2 1/2 to 3 years, with more frequent local moves (from temporary housing to the first unit available, or the first rental available if that was even possible, to one that could more comfortably fit the family). My mother had moving down to a science. We could pack up a house and load a moving van better than some professional companies. Having a house that could move with us and that we never needed to pack up? That's as revolutionary as carrying your telephone around in your pocket - and being able to keep the same phone number. We had to say goodbye forever to a lot of people growing up in the military before cell phones and email. It's a completely different world for military dependents now, and much of that for the better. I hope this change catches on.

Bryce thank you so much, how lucky are Sarah, Russell and the girls!!! Could Sarah's smile get any bigger? This has to be THE BEST Tiny House video yet!! How lucky also were they to have such good friends to let them use their land too!!! Great space for the girls and who needs big lounge rooms, TV rooms, dining rooms etc anyway, especially when you have that cool space outside, so much healthier too.? Fantastic...Congrats too on nearly 4 1/2 million subscribers too Bryce & Rasa that's awesome :) ....you are the best show on KZbin. 10:10 !! Oh boy I didn't realise NZ was sooooo expensive I wonder why that is???? But isn't it great that they welcome Tiny Houses...pity mainland Oz doesn't do the same it would solve so many housing issues. Thanks again. I'm going to have to watch it again...RIGHT NOW!! **** The only problem I can see (and maybe its not) is if they have to move often where will they park it next time - presumably the Airforce pay for relocation but does that include the house too???

Great video again, Bryce! And greetings to the US military guy and thanks for your service. I built with Habitat for Humanity on the North Island for a Maori family and New Zealand -- both islands are spectacular .... Took my breath away! I loved New Zealand ✨🌞✨❤️✨

What a beautiful tiny home for your family! Love how you are next door to where the military base is plus how great it is that you can move your home whenever you are relocated. You designed the interior and exterior well and I love the artwork too. That's great how you daughters have their own lofts while you have your own downstairs bedroom space. The kitchen set up is marvelous too. Thanks for sharing. Jenny
