Generations of my family have lived in Tilbury since before World War 2... Until 10 years ago. It's ALWAYS been a gutter hole, but now I wouldn't go near Thurrock, let alone down the hill! The council have even destroyed the beautiful village of Orsett! Best thing our family did was get well out of Tilbury, Grays and Thurrock!! Thurrock council have destroyed the entire borough!
