Harrieth this is your fan from Jamaica who is coming to live in Kenya and who told you that you are beautiful. Like I said I visited Turkana last year in totality and visited that refugee camp where I conducted an interview. This camp is used by these big organizations like UNESCO for profiteering. The money and care that those people in the camp should get they are not getting it. At nights in certain parts of the camp is looting all night. I feel so sorry for those people as once you enter you never leave. Again, the money and resources they should be getting is going into the pockets of big wigs. In the day of judgement these people will have to answer to God for what they did to my African brothers and sisters. Love you mama Africa.

Somalis and Oromos are both indigenous to this so called land called “Kenya”. Remember Kenya as we know it today is a British invention and both these ethnic groups have been here for thousands of years. The sheer ignorance of “Kenyans” is astounding. Pick up a book a learn about the history of your country.

Harriet thank you so much for highlighting the plight of these people. Most of them have lived in kenya most their lives and should be given kenyan citizens. Kenyans are good at giving hospitality to those who are fleeing wars and famine. I would love to see the government doing more to integrate this people in our society and give them a chance as I am positive they will have so much to contribute to our country.

But Kenyan Oromos cannot be in refugee's camp
@PierreJJ.3 ай бұрын
The Borana of Kenya are despite being the original and purest Oromo group ethnically, a very different people than most Oromo clans in Ethiopia. Boranas prefer to be referred to as Boranas and not the Oromo term at all, and have lived in their area for in Northern Kenya thousands of years, which encompasses what is now southern Ethiopia, northern Kenya, and small pockets of southern Somalia. Kenyan Borana are not the same as the Oromos depicted in this video. The Oromos in the video belong to other clans that have assimilated both Omotic and Habesha influences to a greater extent. Despite speaking the Afaan Oromo language, they cannot be phenotypically or genetically classified as the same people. The Borana from Marsabit in Kenya are genetically closely related to the Somali Hawiye Sultan clans Ajuraan and Degodia, as well as the Gabbra and Garre. The Cushitic situation in Northern Frontier District (NFD) in Kenya represents the heartland of Eastern Cushites.
@PierreJJ.3 ай бұрын
@@kennar012 Borana in Kenya are not the same as the Oromos in this video, Borana are like a royal caste, upper echelon clan within the ancient Oromo Gadaa culture and have a very different identity than most Oromos in Ehtiopia, as well genetically they are closer to the former rulers of Somalia, the Somali Kenyan Ajuraan clan in NFD, as well Gabbra and Garre, and to a certain extent Rendille and El-Molo.
