Mama would gently get on me for almost wetting my pants, because I didn't want to miss anything! My youngest son, now38, was the same way. I know I don’t say much but I just wanted to let y’all know how much I love you & all the babies. I start my day with a cup of coffee & catching up with you (Lester) Jamie & LE’s videos with my kitty cats in my lap, usually all 4 of them. This is the least amount of babies I’ve ever had in my adult life, I’m getting old so I had to slow down my rescuing & taking care of the babies no one wants. I thank God every day He lets me see there’s still so much love & compassion despite the fact that some just don’t get how much better it feels to love & not hate. Thank you & have a lovely day 😊❤️

Then, they're taking care of all of these beautiful animals, including any special things to improve their lives. Roland's loss of use of his hind end comes to mind. Now, there's Journey. So many have needed special treatments and they've stepped up to the plate and provided that! The whole family are wonderfully compassionate and loving people!!

@Lester Please excuse the prying But I don't understand why the vet hasn't got you to give journey artificial or freeze dried colostrum for goats Or Even suggested that you reach out to another farm with goats to see if, they had a nanny whose kid/s had been born sleeping, they could milk her for the colostrum Journey so desperately needs It doesn't matter that it wasn't 'given first', it's getting those good bugs into her, within the first 3- 6 months, that makes the difference Again, apologies for prying, you all do such a fabulous job x

Have you thought having a leg extension made from 3D printing? This way she could use her short leg.

I was so curious about 3D printing for prosthetics and looked it up to find it is is pretty inexpensive. My concern is the development of an infection before a callus forms which could end up taking Journey's life. I would donate though if it could be done without too much risk involved. I do love your idea.

I'm so glad Pig Newton likes being around Journey and is being such a great companion animal for her. Journey is such a sweet loving girl and of course we all know boys can be rough and like to jump and tumble around, so I'm surprised how gentle Pig Newton is with Journey. It's like Newton knows he has to be easy with Journey because seeing him play with Maggie rough then go to sweet right after to our sweet girl Journey. They were made for each other, god puts certain people and animals together for a reason and we see that with Pig Newton and Journey. I love watching everyones videos because it's a different perspective and shows everyones place in making the farm run and work so well and it shows how everyone has their own way to show their love for the animals. Lester is the dad that plays and sometimes gets the kids hyper while playing but he really cares and loves being around kids and animals, he also makes sure his babies are safe and taking care of. Jamie's the mom that wants to make sure everyones being safe (makes sure lester doesnt hurt his self playing with Ringo, head butting eachother or having to much fun with fire lol) and taking care of (changing bandages, and making sure to keep vet info straight), but she also loves doing the normal mom jobs like feeding and cleaning. Everyone has a place, our flip flop farmer loves his animals and playing with them but is also like his dad, they both love having fun and doing silly stuff. I love it all.

Looking at all of the animals that you all have given a better life, it requires so much time, care, dedication, and hard work, and it is something to be immensely proud of, but then you add in all of the the people whose lives you have also bettered by sharing your sanctuary with the world, and you begin to see how truly special this all is. Quirky animals, characters galore (Not all of them four legged ha), sometimes thoughtful, introspective, and even philosophical, and at other times a true shitshow, all remaining true to who you are, what you see is what you get. I always wonder if you sit back sometimes and think about all of the hard work you have put in to be where you are now, how far you have come, and how much strength you have not only gained, but also given, to those fortunate enough to a part of your journey, be it in person, or from the other side of the world. To think of how much you, and we, have all found, from you losing so much in that hurricane, is incredible. So much loss has led to so much gain, life's journey sure is strange, but it is also wonderful, and frankly, kind of amazing.

5/25/21....Journey is kicking but and taking names in her goat/pig/littles life.....And We love how far she has come! She is making her own way with all the others!! And I for one, Love that she is LIVING LIFE TO HER FULLEST!
