You are so underrated. Every time I watch you I cry. I too dealt with the psychiatric thing with my daughter. Omg it was pure hell. So so scary. It helps knowing we’re not alone. But that pic of you just so exhausted I felt that in my soul. Glad your son is doing better. So is my daughter. Hope this lasts. Now we’re trying to figure out the adhd meds. I feel so lost on that

Wow!!! Thank you so much for this video!! I needed to hear this today!! I am going through a lot of stressful times right now and it seems like it is just one thing after another and I can't catch a break! I am struggling to just keep my head above water everyday and I feel like I am losing myself. I don't know how to feel happy anymore. My husband and I have a 4 year old daughter and I have a 17 year old daughter from a previous marriage. It is so hard to be strong for them when I am feeling so stressed and tired. I am working 9-10 hour days to try and keep up with rising food and gas prices and I never have time at home to just enjoy my kids and life. Time feels like it is flying and all I do is work. I just hope things get better soon and things slow down a little bit.

I so needed to hear this! About 2 years ago, I began the process of reporting my then husband to the police for SA against my kids and another girl I know, among other crimes. About little over a year ago, he was arrested. Insurrection day is my independence day. I have been working part time since then waiting for my youngest to start kindergarten next year, while taking classes to become a teacher so I can have the same breaks as my kids to give them the best life I can. We're struggling, we're healing, we're on food stamps and driving to the next town over for counseling every other week, we're happier but we're wounded. Your son's videos gave me a lot of fear but a lot of hope too... My son told me recently after an uncle died of suicide, "it seems like there's just sad things all the time." I hope I can have a relationship with him like you and your son, so that he knows he can come to me for help even if he's at rock bottom. 💖

Ugh this stage I’m in with my oldest son and his struggles so similar to yours with your oldest son, is proving to be the most difficult phase in my almost 17 years of parenting. I consistently remind myself to give myself grace and will now do my best to remind myself that this is just a really REALLY difficult phase. 😢

The beautiful pic of you visiting your son in the hospital - you look like a mom who does not need sleep or food even... just her kids. Just needs her kids. I get that. Hugs, Mommas.

Love this video. It reminds me of a scripture that says weeping may endure for a night. But joy cometh in the morning. Life comes in phases. And as my mom days, this to shall pass.

Beautiful❤ Thank you for honesty and being brave to show the real you, even if it had some hard/in definition of others "humiliating" moments which with the time, where not that bad, just a phase! It also reminds me of Oprah Winfrey words, when she meant, when she asked some of her guests - what would they say to the younger self, she meant that everyone answered the same in one way or another: Relax, just relax, everything will be ok😊

My children were absoutely terrible this week. Not themselves of course.... but the bickering, whining, not listening, yelling and being overly emotional/irrational and mean. They both woke up this morning and were legit two different kids. They completed their daily responsibiliies without being asked, were kind to eachother, we got off to school a few minutes early and everyone was in a MUCH better mood. So, just when I thought I might loose my mind, they gave me the reassurance that I needed to remember all of the good things they bring to our family, and to be greatful. And, this video brought me to tears.... happy tears. Because when things are less than perfect... it's just a phase.

It still shocks me that you aren't over a million subs yet. Every video is either encouraging or hilarious or both! Even before becoming a father, I've enjoyed your videos. And now that I'm married with a kid, it all makes so much more sense and the messages hit so much closer to home.

This is great advice. I had to learn this same thing the hard way. My son is 20 now and I wish I’d have enjoyed those hard days more because it is a phase and it does pass and now I miss those days. 😢

Thank you for sharing this, it was just what I needed to hear! I have growing teens and it's hard being overjoyed for their growth but also worried about them going off and doing their own things, facing their own ups and downs. Thanks for the reminder that it's just one phase in our lives and I can't wait to look back on it someday and see how it all works out for each of us!
