WHAT IS CAPTAIN OF INDUSTRY?
Captain of Industry is a colony and factory simulation game. Your journey will start with a small crew of survivors on an abandoned island. If you do things right, you'll work your way up towards a self-sufficient colony and will play an important part in the region's industry. But first, in order to survive, you will need to mine raw materials, grow food, build factories, manufacture products, construct vehicles, research new technologies, explore your surroundings, and trade with other islands. If you are successful, you can even start a space program and build rockets! But that's a long and hard way to go...

this game is sooo good. The first time the lightning went off it scared the heck out of me..lol. I did dump the waste into the water as land fill,,, seems to be ok so far.... and I think I know of a good use for those belt filter things. the farms,,, so potatoes come out on u shaped belts.. (veggies on flat,, I didnt leave enough room,, that messed me up..oops) but there are lots we will be able to grow right? so,, if we rotate crops,, and use u shaped belts to loose storage for three different crops in rotation,,, then need the filters to make sure the get to the proper storage. you showed mixing stuff from two belts onto one doesnt work,,

Use conveyors to take the crushed slag (which is a byproduct of smelting, pretty much a waste material) and use it to make concrete. That’s what I do with my massive concrete maker. No need to dump the waste product because you would then be using it to make something useful. Just a thought though. Your videos are awesome mate. 👌🏻

Good series. Did not know the ship could get oil. My second build went into a death spiral fuel > maint>food 500 died. Fortunately I have a save from the start of the day. Now using your tips I can hopefully avoid my fate.

Hi there Charlie, just a quick pro-tip, if you will.... At 34:28, whenever you want such a design to work with the belts, just keep in mind that one needs 3 squares to raise to height 1, 5 sq for height 2 and 7 sq for height 3... So when one builds a main bus idea, try to build them 15 squares apart, but the main bus belt in the middle, which leaves one with exactly 7 squares at both sides to feed machines.... Hope it helps... enjoy and keep it up m8

Why do you keep saying ''acrosst'' instead of across? Is it a thing where you live? You probably can't help it but its kinda annoying me as i am used to saying ''across'' as thats the normal way of saying it and my brain keeps saying thats the normal way of saying and should be said.. no hard feelings though

If it’s annoying you, you either need to learn to cope better with things that are different, or stop watching. There is zero I can do about the past, and I’m certainly not going to change what is natural. If you let a single sound at the end of a word annoy you - that’s something you need to fix, not me.
