I chartered a boat that had the same aft cabin layout with the narrow door that they removed on this one here. And I think that was an awesome decision. Climbing through that door was a real pain :) Nicely opened up space here!

This video is a great example of what I have been telling my wife about when we look at various sailboats. That if we settle on a boat, if there are things she or I may not like much, when the refit comes we can fix the sailboats shortcomings. I would also like to say about his galley, while it goes very well with the rest of the boat, somehow it has a hint of Japanese looking Galley and the dining area sort of reminds me of a French Fine Dining Restaurant. Maybe that is not what they were going for, but I am just pointing that it goes well together. It is far from looking like many sailboats that... you know look like most of them came out of the same cookie cutter. On a side note, I would also like to point out how good the video shows the wonderful wood tones and at the same time the whites are bright and vibrant. Sometimes it is hard to get the whites to look proper and at the same time the reds, blues, greens and wood tones to look correct too.

+enerZise Yes there usually has to be a little compromise and it can be a long search for the right boat. Now that you mention the styles in Bill's boat I can see that now and I agree that it sure all went well together! Thanks for the comments about the video quality! Nice to heart that it looks good. :)

I just bought a C&C 41 and I have a question for you. I'm still finding out where everything is and I noticed that the batteries are under the cabin sole? Is there any easy way to get to them. If not I'll have to unscrew twenty or so screws and lift up a section of the sole. Thanks Harry I love the boat....
@cncbilly40003 жыл бұрын
My 4 house batteries are behind the companionway stairs in front of the engine and one starting battery in the starboard locker. Congrats on your purchase. Cheers

And while I'm at it, why is there no access to the engine through the panel just behind the steps leading into the cabin? Did you cut out a section of this panel to get to the engine? Or did someone forget to do something?
@cncbilly40003 жыл бұрын
The main engine access is through the starboard locker.

Very nice boat. Neat electrical install, but the exposed AC wires behind the panel without a rear cover is deadly and dumb. Please install a cover over the AC section of the panel --- like $30 to save your life.
