“Life is most intense, when death is near.” On the frontline stabilization unit of the 10th Brigade

The medical stabilization unit of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade is located a few kilometers from the front line. It is the very first point, where medics bring the wounded soldiers from the battlefield. Most often, the soldiers are brought at night, since trying to evacuate the wounded in the daylight is a death sentence, say the medics. Day after day, the russians hunt those who try to evacuate “Cargo 300” or the wounded.

I have heard stories of soldiers wanting to get back to their units after being injured, but I have never heard of a mother leaving her baby to keep helping the wounded soldiers. Like she said, it is hard when leaving in both directions. They are so dedicated to caring for each other and the wounded. Amazing people❤️💛💙🇺🇦
