This happened to me in USA. I grew up in an international college town that imported foreign and privileged students while I had to compete for minimum wage jobs in coffee shops that I was overlooked for. And I was priced out of my home town aka gentrification. I watched foreign students in luxury cars and designer clothes, they’re parents owned banks in foreign lands. I became like a peasant in my own country. I have ancestors who fought for this country died at 21 after being captured by the British. He was an abolitionist aka against slavery. Here I am daughter of the American revolution and I’m stuck in the rent trap. Unmarried. Spirit of infirmity. An orphan. A widow. While foreigners thrive. Our whole country was founded by Freemasons so this makes sense to me. It’s not only Africa who suffers, first world has casualties too. Love you guy’s.
