He is probably too old to play a 16 year old but Gonzalo Martin did Sean Diaz cosplay and it was pretty amazing how much he looks like his ingame character when he dresses like him. Edit: Actually I found out it wasn't cosplay. They did a live action recreation of the hotel room scene and Gonzalo Martin played Sean Diaz in it

The faces in LiS2 are a bit stylized so they couldve sculpted them with a few reference pictures here and there (mostly concept art) For fully realistic faces they usually scan now. Though despite being stylized, the faces in LiS2 are fairly realistic, especially Karen's.

some games they do complete motion capture so the character looks exactly like the actor (detroit become human, beyond two souls, until dawn) and some games where they only do body motion capture and just completely draw the face
