I am going to miss this game, or at least this season. I seriously hope that Square Enix will endorse another season of Life is Strange and that Dontnod will do just as good of a job with that season. I didn't care too much for this season's ending, but it's not about the destination - it's about the journey, and Life is Strange gave us one heck of a journey.

That isn't uncommon. Making the characters look similar to the actual person helps make their voice fit better.

Some games are even created using something like facial mapping (I don't know what it's actually called, so don't quote me on that), which is where they have the actors put on these suits covered in balls and have small circle things stuck on their face. Then the actors do the scene and say the lines, and the balls are like place holders that transfer the 'model' or whatever into the computer. Then they add in the things like clothes and shit and BAM! You've got a game. A good example of this is Beyond: Two Souls. You should see that shit. It's fuckin amazing.

It's kind of funny, hearing them all back-to-back, alongside their voice actor makes you realize how similar they all sound. I'm not ragging on the game, you don't get that (or at least I didn't) while you're playing it, and I don't fault them for using a smaller pool of voice actors, it's just kind of humorous to think that all these characters - so varied and unique in the game - were voiced by the same people, and kind of sound similar in the "fake" environment of this KZbin video.

What I love about Life is Strange is that it gave me this Heavy Rain vibe due to the choices that you make in the game. It's like the tagline of Heavy Rain says. "How far are you willing to go to save someone you love?" Guess that question was answered not only in Heavy Rain but in this one.
