I love the "calling her bluff" choice because it shows that being confident and defending yourself will result in the other person hitting harder, kinda like in real life. Ofc, that's not always the case, but the media has a tendency of showcasing people defending themselves and then be instantly respected - which is not how it usually goes

I'd argue that it sets a dangerous precedent if you bow down to blackmail that quickly, and I fear Loretta would try to abuse that in the future. Best to come clean and move on. You don't negotiate with terrorists so to speak On another note: Calling her bluff did kinda work. Loretta doesn't know Gwen is angry with us, and she put herself on the spot as well and got told to fuck off essentially.

I really hate and like Loretta at the same time. I feel like she could be a useful character later on because while she may come off as a pretentious little snitch, she actually has a good quality of a journalist. Being able to pressure their subject into telling the truth is literally what an interviewer does.

Same!!!!! in ep 2 while Max is searching living World Gwen’s office Max mentions that Gwen being on the phone *literally at **0:11** seconds* is talking to the police but at 0:19 Gwen says “Well, I’m-I’m sure the police know that already,even if-“ so she was talking to the police….so who was she talking to wished they fix that because there are questions in this game that were literally unanswered!

It's like if Telltale's The Walking Dead took away the harsh comic outlines and smoothed everything over to look more realistic. It makes it unrecognizable.
