Season finale doesn't always mean sequel, I speak from experience with these types of games. However, based on what I've heard, there will be a Season 2, but Dontnod has already said it won't focus on Max and Chloe.

+dalzelljack I think EP5 will have a conclusion on Max & Chloe's story. So I would rather if they don't sequel bait at the end. But another story like this would be awesome.
