Now through this scene, I can be 100% positive that Nathan didn't kill Rachel or accidentally overdosed her as Jefferson claimed he did at all. Why? Because just look at how genuinely happy he was when he thought Max was Rachel, he still thinks that Rachel is alive and just has finally come back!!!

I know this comment was made a long time ago, but I personally think Nathan did kill her via an accidental overdose and just panicked and left her where he killed her. Maybe he hoped she ended up being okay because he never ended up staying long enough to know that she was 100% dead. That's just my theory though.

I even blamed Jefferson without know the first time. Cause I chose to not tell The principal about Nathan in the beginning and didn’t hide in chloe‘s room and take the blame for the joint. So I somehow guessed David would tell I had this joint and this wouldn’t end that well if I chose to blame Nathan there. So I chose Jefferson cause he appeared negative to me after the conversation he had with Kate before. I somehow didn’t want to blame David. So in the end i was even happy i chose Jefferson after I ended the Game. Cause even after what Nathan did I felt bad for him in some ways. Doesn’t make his actions good, still so…
