When I realized that, I liked Jefferson more as a villain, they gave us a clue that Jefferson could be the killer from the beginning, but at that moment we still didn't even know who Rachel was. So when replaying the game for the second time, Jefferson's dialogue takes on much more weight, due to the fact that we already know all of that teacher's intentions.

A clue you can find in the deleted audio recording where Nathan shouts to everyone: "I know that the storm will come", hinting that Nathan has time travel powers. It has been officially announced that Life is Strange 4 will happen, again with Max and Chloe, and it's gonna be a sequel from after Max chooses to save Chloe over Arcadia Bay
